yer was few good games the last map we played is great fun with a jeep if you got the flag. going full speed and hitting the jumps and hoping that theys no warhawk up your ass.

The game's full of little moments like this. There's nothing quite like the visceral feel of being under fire by a tank or Warhawk and driving / running for your life. Jeep chases can be an amazing seat of the pants experiences.

On a 32 players server it gets pretty manic but tonight's smaller games worked very well too. There was a real battle for supremacy and plenty of action, which goes to show how well balanced things are and how well it all works especially given that in most multiplayer games of this size you can get lost on massive / busy maps like some of these.

The comedy moment this evening when I rolled in to the base in the tank and started firing madly at anything and everything was great. Explosions and ragdolling enemies everywhere. And then someone decided to play me at my own game and jam a tank shell into me

Great little session on this tonight with some great moments... nearly every time I died I started laughing cause I was taken out in such a great way nearly every time so much variety to the battles and the maps really do let you take advantage of all the turrets and vehicles at different points.

Cheers for the games boys, hopefully get more throughout the week.

Thanks everyone, a great session. We had 11 players after 15 minutes of the server being up, then Tali topped it out at 12. It's great fun with that number of people, and as everyone has said some really great comedy moments.

Just did capture the flag, as I feel that works well with a small server.

Playing 5 games in a row as blue and being nailed by your AA every 5 secs had me focused on revenge... its just unfortunate we were on the same team at the time.

TDM and Zones would still work well, just depends on the size of the maps. That one in the clouds for instance would be alright for 6 v 6 zones.

Tried to get a game online with this again yesterday - I swear I must have me filters set funny or something because since I got it I've been unable to join a single game - every time I have to set one up then wait for people to join which is **** as I want to play some ranked games.

Also, headset-wise my BT-135 I could hear Nige but he couldn't hear me.

Is there any real point in buying the retail package yet then if headsets are still hit and miss? I can order it from Virgin online for £26 with my Virgin card but the release date looks to be a few weeks off still.

I'm wondering the same thing at the moment, but mine's on its way across the Atlantic so there's not much I can do about it now. Still, I can always use it with my phone and just pick up a USB set if it's really that bad.

Hopefully have this by the weekend.

I just bought an official PS2/Logitech made USB headset for about 18quid delivered from ebay. Came in a day. These things work and come with long cabling.
