OK, well done for getting a load of games done recently guys!
The league seems to be heading for a bit of a disaster though due to some people signing up and not playing (though I appreciate some have signed up and tried to play with no success!)

I'll give it till saturday then make some kind of draw for knockout rounds. As promised, everyone will go through (if you've got a match done or have shown real willing). Not sure if I'll do 2 knockouts or just 1, but will certainly take league results into account in terms of some kind of seeding to make sure that it wasn't a total waste of time!
At the moment I'm thinking 3 pts for each win, 1 pt for each loss (ie you actually played the match), and then seeding based on that system. Sorry I know that's a little unfair if you ended up with a no-show in your group, but I gotta do something reasonably simple...open to suggestions if needed.

I'd be interested to hear what other people think, but I'd worry that we'd end up with the same problem of people dropping out either cause they've moved on from SF4 or cause they've lost a few and know they can't win the league anymore. At least with a knockout everyone left in has an incentive to keep playing.

I'll stick with this as a knockout, but could do a league if people want.

If you want better online games then we can just look to have private endless battles with a bunch of people from here/other friends. I'll be on tonight and might try to get something going with 5/6 people, did this the other day with some NE people and it was good fun. You don't mind the wait so much if there's decent players to watch (or you've got a handheld to play!) and at least you know you get a decent match when you get to the front.

Juts had some really good games with Stakers and he scored a comprehensive win- I've updated the spreadsheet.

Speedlolita- are you about tonight or tomorrow for some matches? I'm away on Saturday until Thursday, so it'd be better to get our matches done before then.

Socko, sorry, I couldn't get on last night. Kiddie up late and the mrs wanted to watch a film.

I can get on late tonight (might be 11 ish though). If not, I'll be good to go any time tomorrow from about 7:30. I'll look out for Mayhem too.

Right, I've allocated points for league performance as I said, 3 for a win, 1 for a loss.
Everyone who played has been seeded based on that, and put into the knockout. The draw is on a separate sheet.
The top 4 guys have got a bye through to the quarters, and have been kept apart, the rest have got round 1 to play, and the rest of the draw is mapped out - hopefully it's clear enough so just put the right person through in the spreadsheet once you've played your game.
If I've made any mistakes with the seeding & draw let me know!

At a very minimum round 1 needs completing by next weekend but it should be easily doable by midweek. As soon as you know who you're playing you can get further rounds done.

Same rules as before, best of 5 bouts, 3 rounds per bout, choose any character and ultra you like. Good luck!
