I don't know if I've ever been in to the infirmary, I'd better do that tonight. I think at some point I got the opening cutscenes confused with the Jeuno mission 'Save my son'... so thought I'd done all there was to do regarding that...

It averages 25 gilsellers per server. Obviously some servers will benefit more than others (and from my own personal observations, Seraph seems to have done rather well).
For the last week I?ve been doing /sea all for some infamous names (approximately 20 people who are suspected gilsellers) and none have been on.
It may be a ?drop in the ocean? but it?s a nice step in the right direction.

Well it?s arguable.
For example, these famous names have been absent for the last week yet at the same time the price of Shihei shot up from 8k a stack
Prices only go up because people are willing to pay higher prices. Also, gilsellers don?t have a market for every item that goes up in price (for example my Elusive Earring or the Spirit Pacts you are after). Such items are obtained via BCNM and gilsellers don?t do them. Yet the prices still continue to rise on these too.
What gilsellers do is create an easy means for ?less dedicated? (nicest way I could put it) players to obtain gil easily. Gilsellers had become so prevalent (and so good at what they did) that gil to sell was so available and as such, really cheap. People who obtained this gil thought nothing of spending an extra 100k for their current item of choice if it was asked of them.

Based upon S-E's announcement that over 800 NM campers have been cleansed, it would unfortunately appear that the process is similar to that of recent S-E titles :
Flawed
Many of my favourite (if that is the word to use) campers are still in business. Examples include mrs Korroloka 24/7 2005 herself, Ccialang and her fellow bot Xxialang. Also still around, is Mr "We don't harm the economy by inflating the prices, lets blame the crafters" Kissialang, the famed level 60+ valkurm emperor camper who is easily identifiable by his traditional attire of Raptor Jerkin. Only a blind man would fail to spot these rather glaring problems within our server, it is my belief that S-E are merely telling us something we want to hear, afterall, why work for our money when they can simply take it?

..there's an Fxialiang and an Axialang as well! Always in Gusgen mines.. I've seen people shouting that one of these two has taken mining points off them.
They can't all be one person, because they are in all these different places doing all different things ALL the time... maybe this is one of those groups that slipped the net?

How can they have slipped the net, I can't count on 2 hands the amount of times I've reported Ccialang. All it takes is for a GM to visit Korroloka Tunnel and BAM bye-bye.
Our server's GMs are probably some fat, 40+ virgins who still live in their mom and dad's basement eating donuts and "Potato chips" not to mention fantasizing over some naked anime girl with bat wings and a tail or something equally as stupid.
Whatever it is, they aren't doing their jobs properly.

A guide on how to get your Ballista License. If there are any 30 or 60 ones on tonight im probably going to enter, I wanna try rdm out as lvl 30.
First a chocobo in Jeuno and now a Moogle, it let me go to my mog house storage and everything apart from change job.
Weekend Ballista, many players turning up for some PvP action.
Waiting for the match to start.

Erm, what? O_o
It isn't as simple as pointing someone out as a gilseller and then the GM bans them.
Otherwise you'd have players throwing accusations around at people for stupid disputes. Someone just beat you to a claim? Get them banned by claiming they are a gilseller. That'll teach then ?_?
Look at what the article said they did:
The users of these accounts would form groups to monopolize the hunting spots of notorious monsters (NM). They also repeatedly performed harassment and MPK actions against other players.
Also, it is churlish to criticise S-E when they have actually taken action and done something and not solved the problem in one fell swoop. For all we know, this could be the first stage in further cullings that are planned. Personally, I think the likes of Cholse, Chrismeng etc training on people who claimed Anemet were infinitely worse than a few people farming Korroloka non-stop and I am glad they are gone.
If you want to get Ccialang (and the numerous spinoffs) banned, you need to get them to admit to partaking in RMT (Real Money Trade). However, be warned you cannot ask them specifically, as it is classed as entrapment.
