How was everyone?s weekend?

Friday?s Phomiuna Aqueducts run wasn?t the best. Whilst I am incredibly happy to have a Niokiyotsuna katana I do feel that there were more important things for us to be going after. Any interest in going back in one evening this week? I would suggest we start as early as possible (say 6:30pmish) if we do. The difficulty I think we have is a lack of jobs that can main heal in the LS, and fewer who have cleared Promyvions.

I managed to level my NPC to 52 and picked up a couple of nice drops whilst doing so and made a bit of gil. Even completed another couple quests, one of which was in Davoi and on my I bumped into the Archer?s Knife NM and got the drop. Will sell it on towards Nokizaru Hakama fund.

However, one quest item still eludes me, an Extra-Fine File for Tuning In. Got the other 2 items I need, but after spending 4 hours killing Fomors in Lufaise Meadows, the last drop eludes me. My Fomor Hate must be through the roof right now

A great weekend for me too

Sunday saw obtain enough yagudo necklaces for my Utsusemi: Ichi scroll quest. Got that and in the process used up my coffer key and got myself the map of SSG ^_^

Unrelated farming saw me complete one and a half stacks of silk, 3 beehive chip stacks, a pair of light solea and 3 stacks of fire crystals during ninja lvling - and once all that has been converted to gil, I should JUST about have enough left to make up lost ground after kitting myself in expensive +1 gear for my ninja - which I have to say so far I am enjoying - just wish those tool stacks were cheaper

Dynamis went well, turned up for it to be 1 hours delay because of the huge Jap Dynamis LS that covers all 5 zones until 3:30?ish we?re running late in the Jeuno zone we, we?re to enter.

Lewis and Dammo were there, managed to get an understanding of the rules from an unusually polite Lewis. After we went there was a fight right away, and Lewis had left auto-run on somehow which resulted in the first death with in 20 seconds of starting. After that wave after wave of mobs attacked us down the stairs, using the /assist command to lock on to them to the lead Tank PLD tank was fight(ninja seems to do more pulling than tanking) while mage?s slept the gobs or nuked the Statues.

I died about 2 hours into it, after we reached the Jeuno AH, as every single mob has a 2hr ability getting hate at the wrong time can be bad! I took Hundred Fist and lasted maybe 4 seconds after 6-7 punches landed 200-300 a hit. Next death was party wipe, a Ninja Gob manage to get it?s 2hr off with a lot of HP, wiping out a fare few people in one go, which lead to wipe. Second was after killing the boss (fairly boring, just watching any Spell casters nuke it as it has a killer AoE TP move that would wipe out Melee?s and Tanks) one of pulle brought back a round mobs when the Alliances total MP poll was about 200mp ><, and a wipe happened after tanks died out.

Lewis also got out lotted on AF2 boots by another Sam. I still have 2 more runs before I can start earning points. I think I just be doing them on Saturdays Afternoons each week. San?d Week Saturday.

Sucky weekend for me...

Got my parade harness which to be fair is less crap than I thought and might be good for Diablos. Other than that got my NPC to 44 and then the sad tale begins...

...I have been in beadeaux for over 6 hours now killed in excess of 60 emerald quadav in an attempt to get warding oil. So far I have has 2 chest keys and one set of iron armour stuff drop not one single oil. I need 3, the quest is barely worth doing in the first place bu this just takes the biscuit for time consuming rewardless quests.

Cleared a couple more quests last night and had fun on the ENM run. Went back out into top floor afterwards and sure enough I found the ??? for the map of Promyvion-Holla.

That was the good news.

Sadly it was guarded by about 5 Empty, all of which checked as Incredibly Tough. I decided to try and be clever and set up a trade macro so I could be in and out (swift like ninja).

My plan failed. I was patient. Observing, waiting for the perfect moment to dart in, perform my covert operation, and out again without anyone knowing I was there. And then came the opening. I went in, targeted the ??? and hit alt+5?

Nothing!

Alt+5 Alt+5 Alt+5.

This was not going to plan.

I hit Trade on the menu and selected the Teal Memosphere, just in time for an Empty to turn around and spot me in his lair.

A blinding light filled my mind, a moment of clarity occurred and my surroundings all of a sudden felt more familiar. My task was done but I had attracted unwanted attention. I was only able to use distraction techniques for a short amount of time and fled for the Spire entrance but was not quick enough and was knocked out.

But it was worth it.

Another quest item gone from my inventory. Next is the Indigo Memsophere that me and Fhig uncovered on our recent investigation into Promyvion-Mea.

Excellent work Rare, must have been something in the air last night. I to had a successful run on the ENM with another step towards level 70. Afterwards I investigated the emptiness with Karyn and went after the thinkers for a teal memosphere. Anoyingly a summoner was soloing the only thinker on the level and taking forever to kill it, then she screwed up. Following her death went in cliamed the mob killed it and got the drop.

Last night I left Tsing resting on the edge of Davoi and logged in this morning to take on getting a quest drop. After my ill fortune in Beadeaux my spirits were low but low and behold I found the drop I was after (soiled letter) and I was one step closer to the Jaguar Mantle.

Yesterday I actually made a list of my current aims, it runs to 2 sides of A4 and is quite frightening but should let me see my progress much more clearly now.

Good work. Personally I?ve got another 2 charges on my Tactics Pearl (which is still last week?s) which I think I can use up tonight in Lufaise Meadows along with the Signal Pearl charge which should get me close to NPC level 54 (if not there). Also, on Sunday I managed to do a trade of tactic?s Manuals with a Japanese player who had the Endurance T.M. so I know have Soothing Healer. Not really spotted much difference between that and normal healer sadly (I was hoping Soothing Healer would get Erase). Just Fierce Attacker needed now (I got my T.M. Fortitude Manual back so if anyone needs Stalwart Shield let me know).

Once the tactic?s Pearl is used up I?ll be heading into Promyvion-Dem to try and get the last Memosphere from there.

*CoP 3.5, seems dead at moment with Wedge and Hic?s involvement in the game dwindling im thinking of just going with the next shout out i see, even if its more than likely to fail, it better than nothing.

*Moblin Quest series(3 of them), I would really like some help with this, I know Tsing has done some of quest1, and I myself am on quest 2, ready to fight Bugbear NM, the last quest is Bcnm40 vs multiple Moblins for a lvl29 ring +3acc, +3rng acc. Please sign up if you want to do it.

*Long term plan, an item i would very much like to get a Rare/ex lvl50 G.k from Rivera siteB, Bayan said he would help and has the Spawn trigger item for it, But Bayan says I would need 10/12 odd people to help fight Bomb Cluster NM, so im waiting on Rare/Apa CoP group to clear 2.5 mammet fight so I can beg for you help ^^

*Slowly get AF2 via DA Dynamis, none of the equipment is essential to me, so happy to let it come to me in time

As for CoP, why don't we set a day and go as a party to help wedge and hic get their grey chips? WIth 6 of us we should be able to kill diremites in the capped area. Both wedge & hic were on for the aqueducts last week so maybe it's only organised events that seem worth logging in for? (know how that feels)
