Well I need you as Nin tank for sure being hic?s not coming, there?s no way we could keep tsing alive for long with a Rdm and Brd.

    Nin/war - Rare
    Nin/war - Meric
    Brd - Wedge
    Rdm - tali
    Blm ? Darwock (Main Stunner)
Pld ? Tsing (whm sub, could use barfire on the DD group?)

    Sam/nin - me
    Rng/nin - saerik
    Thf/nin - Apa

Sub nin on DD to cut down on AoE Damage(each AoE takes 3 Shadows), being we no longer have healing power of Whm.

Eek... going to make it a bit risky using any other nukes, or is there some way of predicting roughly when they will self destruct? Also there was some talk of sleeping them, is that still in the plan?

Want me to ask Mait if he's free? I know his lvl50 gear isn't superb but another RDM = more Haste/healing potential

Assuming Wedge and Tsing will have WHM subs then I shall come as planned with BLM sub. This will give us 2 x ES+Sleep.

It would be good if we can use the Sleep method before I use Convert which will hopefully give me 3 stacks of MP. That means after Convert either a extra stack of MP for healing or possibly Chainspell + Nuke to finish it off...

Well all I can say is, that was bloody Epic!

                  Thankyou all!

Yep, took two attempts and the second attempt was at least 30 minutes in duration (I used ES three times).. has to be said, we didn't exactly make it easy for ourselves! Was a tremendous experience though, better than most boss battles. Nice not to have a time limit.

So will this restore a bit of momentum to a level 50 garrison then? I'm sure you'll be eager to put that blade to use ^^

edit - feel sorry for Wedgemoon, losing level 75 ><

It was once again something completely different from the Rargh crew. Some nice thinking on feet was displayed and I was especially impressed with the job Tsing did getting everyone back on their feet with limited MP resources.

I?ll have to be honest in that I?m not totally happy with my own personal performance. I was first to fall in both battles and never had appropriate meds or Reraise (despite having a Reraise Earring in my mogsafe).

Still we got the drop in the end so that?s all that matters. I am intrigued as to how it is supposed to be beaten in its 3 bomb form especially with 2 NIN. Perhaps we needed a more organised enmity dispersal strategy between me and Meric as on the first battle I basically got caught without shadows and Meric?s Provoke did nothing. Second fight was slightly unlucky I guess as it attacked my last shadow that immediately launched a TP move (Formation Attack). I?m not expecting people to want to go back but part of me wants to fight him again and try to beat it cleanly as I do feel a large amount of victory was down to luck.

Still it was epic and a lot of fun

I think the next thing on the agenda will be Swift Belts once people get Sacrarium access.

If people are planning on going after a swift belt, that would go nicely with my thf haste build I reckon.

If someone wants to arrange something, and maybe get some kind of run going for the area access, then let us know

(besides, I need something to tear me away from Oblivion)

You have quite a way to go to get Sacrarium access.

You need to defeat 2-5 (Mammets battle), then a series of uncapped (but lengthy) battles and cutscenes spanning all nations before heading to Pso' Xja to battle Diabolos (lvl40 cap).

Then you will be at the stage both current CoP groups are at now which is 4-2 (a lvl50 cap battle) and beating that gives you Sacrarium access. That is a lot of work for you to catch up with :/

Definately one of the coolest battles i've ever done. Rather than praise anyone in particular (as everyone played an important part) I will say I was really pleased with my performance as main healer. There were no MP issues in either of the fights, the only issue came from the amount of hate I was getting due to the extensive amount of healing required which of course led to my premature death in both the fights. After the reraise in the 2nd fight I worked with Tsing and Wedge to sort Raises and keep the Ninja's healthy etc. The end result was worth the pain and congrats to Tobal on getting the GK.

Rare did however take more than his fair share of deaths for which I am sorry, unfortunately, most appeared to be from special moves that hit for massive damage which I could not do much about.

I won't praise anyone either, instead I'll hand out the /slaps!

You'd better get your head and your ass wired together, or I will take a giant **** on you. Whose side are you on, son? Don't you love your country? Then how about getting with the program? Why don't you jump on the team and come on in for the big win? It's a hardball world, son. We've gotta keep our heads until this peace craze blows over.
lol... you know who you are ^^ (tongue in cheek fellas)

Please don't fret over that. I rarely ever blame anyone else for my deaths instead I always look at my own performance and I always find things that I do wrong and last night was no exception. I?ll only blame a healer when no attempt is made at all and you clearly did everything you could.
