Dagger actually, so far it's been a republic dagger for the accuracy, but that was going to have to change as I progress anyway (beyond 51 I'll have a lot of reasons to use a staff!). Dagger is the one weapon which gives me access to every skill chain without switching, so it's the ideal one to use. But from your explanation it will be nerfed. Ah, well you could still be ok anyway. The common denominator so far seems to be dual wield. DW not only allows you to equip 2 weapons but also offers a bonus reduction to your delay (this bonus increases as you get the enhanced DW traits at NIN25, 45 and 65). This reduction is taken into account before your TP is calculated. Single wielding a dagger (unless it is one of the daggers with 150 delay) still seems to be returning 5tp a hit (which is why many THF are talking about /war becoming the SJ of choice).Comment

Just took alook at all the new equipment, as far as sam?s go the new G.K?;s are quite bad and shareable with NIN?s so there Low Delay(=bad for tp gain) with the exception of the Assault Latent Effect G.K. which Boost its DMG to 79 for 420 delay weapon(but has zero extra stats), very disappointing. As far as Body equipment goes for us, most sets are average and are all around lvl50 to 59 but are outclassed by Haubie and JSE70, even if it does have the +Zanshin effect at lvl59(even though Sam?s don?t get till 60) +set effect gives magic and breath %def.
Apart from that Drk and War got some very good Gswd and Great Axes, and the new belts, capes and Waist equipment for all the jobs are must gave for me (lots of +str/acc on the same item).Comment

regarding release dates, what I remember from my days posting on GameFAQs message board a few years ago (*shudder*) release dates in the US differ in how they work compared to here in the UK.
Over here, a release date is the day it can ?officially? be bought in stores and the game will have been shipped out beforehand. In ths US, a release date is simply the day it leaves distributors warehouses and is shipped across the country. Sometimes it can be 1 or 2 days before shops get the game on the shelves (depending on distance from warehouse).Comment

Anyone ordered from VG+? I contacted them a while ago when they didn't have the expansion pack listed and they said they were waiting for a new supplier for their PC games. It was added to the site recently and I got my preorder in but checking the site again today, looks like they have taken the PC version off the site completly O_oComment

It took another couple of days, but it eventually turned out that I had cancelled my order, and they wanted to know why I was asking about something that I no longer wanted from them, although it wasn't phrased quite so nicely.
Obviously, I didn't cancel it, otherwise I would remember doing so, and I should (theoretically) have had an email from them confirming the cancellation. So, they screwed up the order, which lost them my trust. I reordered it from Gamestop.com, and it arrived within 10 days.
Overall, much better service.
