Anyone feel like taking a bash at Ifrit tonight? Somewhat at a loss these days for things to do whilst we wait on Divine Might. Beating Ifrit will give me the last whisper I need for The Moonlit Path meaning we could perhaps take a pop at Fenrir and Diabolos over the weekend.

Failing that we could attempt ZM14?

After some tech. advice guys... One of my other mates wants to get in on FFXI as well, only he's selling his 360 so needs to use his PC instead. What would be a fairly decent gfx card to throw in his PC in order to run this? I'm sure you'd only be looking at ?80-100 for something these days. He only wants to run this so even something 2yrs old would do.

He's a big FF fan and had never seen FFXI before (or any other MMORPG for that matter). He bobbed round with his gf last night as we were going out for tea and he was in total awe at everything, you should have seen his face. Being a FFTactics man he nearly took a **** when I told him about all the various jobs you can choose. LOL - the S.Gusta theme nearly had him in tears. ^^

GeForce 6600GT is also a great choice if you want to go down the NVidia route, this will also be better for other newer DX9 games, as well as DVD playback if you're into that sort of thing.

Personally running a radeon 9800 256mb ice pro and I've never had any issues with it.

What fame is required for Ifrit? If I have whats needed by the time you're ready to start, I'd like to help out.

Trial by Fire starts in Kazham.

I was told that it is based purely on Windurst fame. However I was also told that Ramuh (started in Mhaura) was also based only on Windurst fame yet there was a point when I could activate Ramuh but not Ifrit so it must be more complicated than that.

However, you?d probably not go wrong if you just raised your Windurst fame as it is likely to be a factor.

Trying to drum up outside support for stuff I need really depresses the crap out of me, so I think I'll pass on Movalpolos. We could definitely tackle the snow lily though.
