CoP was released in September 2004, ToAU in April 06. That's only a gap of 19 months.

Factor in that the ToAU announcement was made in September 2005 and that means it was announced only 12 months after CoP. We are about to hit ToAU first year anniversary so it wouldn't be totally unexpected for a new expansion to be announced soon (for release towards the end of the year).

I'm still of the belief the ToAU is miles from done, the storyline is very short so far. I'm expecting another expansion though and it will be the far east in my book...

I'm still reckoning that top rank assualt or completed ToAU will be te access requirements just from what has been said in the missions and quests so far.

Next I'm betting that imperial whitegate is opened for top rank mercs.

Looking at the job's merit category, I'm a bit confused as to the ability feint - at 0 merits the ability has a 10 minute recast time. Each point spent on the ability lowers the recast time by 2 minutes and the skill can be improved up to 6 times despite the ability's reuse time being 0 at 5 merits.

I think in all honesty this is an error on SE's part - the ability does look pretty powerful as basically you could greatly lower an opponent's evasion every attack, over -57 pts of eva according to FFXIcylopedia.

i thought tier 2 upgrades only have 3 levels ... SE defenatly need to add more content to the game ... a new expansion is not what is really needed. Indeed their chocobo racing system is pants and it dont seem like there is much gain for the player system.

Yeah you're right about the 3 level thing, I didn't realise you could only upgrade each one 3 times, since it doesn't say anywhere in the merit menu.

Shame really, SE already are in the business of giving out stupidly overpowering abilities.

Partly thanks to Daragon’s Treasure Hunter II (+1), and partly down to have some staggering luck even when he wasn’t there, I now have 5 Hpemde Organs and 10 Phaubo Organs.

Now, all I need is 1 Yovra Organ and I can get myself a Breeze Gorget for Blade: Jin. Hopefully, we’ll be able to sort out a UFO hunting party and get some of these organs if any one else needs one. Apparently a well-formed PT (standard tank, DD, mage support) can take them out.

Yeah a UFO party would be nice, they use have nasty AOE apart from that like u say rare a standart pty cand take em.

Lots of AF2 Drops in Dyna windy yesterday, 2x nin but sadley got out lotted on them both As for the peeps that were there looks like I was the only one left in Alpha group that didnt have it so maybe next time. tbh thou im only really interested in Body, Hands, Legs.

We got a glacier run coming up and ill have a first dibs token so i put that down for Koga Chainmail as that is one hawt peice of equip. Good thing is there is hardley any drk mains so i might even bag Drk body if it drops will be about time lol

Whm went free lot and i got pissed of with everyman and his dog lotting who didnt have the job so lotted and won lol Used all my luck up on that lot, should have known lol

Have to admit, the demand for NIN relic armour is really disheartening. I know I should just stick it out for 10 runs and get into the main lotting group but when at the same time I see other relics go to virtual jobs and free lot, I do wonder if I should have found a startup Dynamis LS like Apa has but their runs are inconvenient with my working hours.

I really spent too long dicking about doing nothing on NIN and now I’m paying the price for it.

In terms of relic armour, I’d say in terms of priority I’ll go with Hakama>>Tekko>>Chainmail>>Kyahan>>Hatsuburi.

I know what you mean about the Free Lot ridiculousness on the WHM relic. I never lotted as I knew I would never have WHM that high ever so it would be just Inventory-1 for me. I got my Assault Jerkin in a similar situation when 2 EXP party alliance beat Ose. I wasn’t going to bother as I thought other jobs in the alliance could benefit more, only to see SMN and BLM lot on it so thought I would too.

Bah - I'd really hate to see gear for my jobs being lotted to others without the slightest intention of ever equiping. I can see end-game being nothing but stress for me, watching teds win items that they don't even need that I do, just because they've been killing the same mob repeatedly for a year.

I'm eager to get SC + Sleepga/StonegaII sorted before I turn BLM56 on saturday if ppl would like to help btw.

Really OT, but I've just been reading a thread on the Seraph forums by someone who is quitting (a player who has been mentioned here recently and who on my admittedly few involvement with her, will not be missed).

Amused the hell out of me, was only 2 months back she joined the shell. Had 0 HNM experience, no god kills, 1 75 job and no sea. Kind of amazing how much was achieved while she wasn't playing since then

What about peeps that are lvlin whm? or have it lvld but can list it as a job? That question should be asked first.

Hakama would be nice but there isnt a queue for that any more well no FD's. So im hopin to pick them up pretty soon as they will be my main exp kit untill i can pick up lolkitty legs.

As for Tekko they will be pretty hard as at my rank i cant even use FD Tokens in that area.

What about peeps that have 2 main jobs. ; ; I can't wait until I'm either one or the other with both being backed up by RDM sub but I can't do with even more stress than what I've put up with getting simple AF, I'm still not done after three whole months.

You can only have 1 main job set in Dynacore, also a 2nd job and a virtual. Once you reach hero status 40 runs I think your second job also moves to lot group 1.

Free lot is just what it says, it's always said lot if you are going to use but always everyone spams lots. If you want an item you need to set the job, for your first 10 runs you can only set a main.
