Never even realised there was an update today but after reading the notes I'm starting to wonder why they bothered. Nothing very interesting in there at all.

Agreed, it looks like they've gimped npc prices for selling too. The Fanfest seemed abit crap too (was there even any new info?) most of it they told us the week before.

The biggest kick in the balls has been the Wings expansion, i actually regret not hanging up my clubs and calling it a day when i finished ToAH. With the monthly fees and cost of the expansion disc, it's almost ?150, for which we've recieved sod all. Needless to say i won't be renewing my content ID again this month.

I disagree with this. It was also my initial thought after reading the update notes. When the game came back up i hit the missions stright away. 8-2:30 AM when I finally finished the mission updates that they have added. Truely awsome CS's have been added fun yet serious. Lots of running around and stuff to do. 1 NM fight which is quite hard if not setup for it and 1 new BC battle which was AWSOME! Again the CS's hype these fights up really well.

I got lucky and picked up a JP group doin it at the same time. Mnk with Relic H2H and full salvage set along with all his buddies all with amazing gear. Just really really good content for the expansion.

Also on a side note the OP NPCs moves was genius. (Well for Bastok).

Random chests are cool, and some nice bits of low lvl gear out of them. (<50)

FoV looks good for exp when waiting for a low lvl party. People reporting that 500 ish exp for around 10mins work.

Also seems they might have ninja'd the drop rate for 35's in salvage and made them a higher drop rate which is WIN, but thats not confirmed.

All together a nice update for me.

SCH and DNC's are going to be happy to but meh that dont cound for me or any of us on here.

Sorry if spelling meh wrote this fast at work. For me this update has been Win, some nice little touches and problem fixes that were well overdue.

I just need a couple of rank 9s and the rank 10s doing but I've been going back to help Rep who is at tier 7 I think. Going back to tier 3 AGAIN is too much. I've already gone back to help people many times only to find they go on and finish them off without me.

This update can suck my balls, but it's nice that at least one person doesn't seem to mind ****ting their past few months worth of fees down the toilet - I'm sure the Fields of Valor addition WOULD have been good, but no-doubt SE have somehow managed to **** it up and make it so limiting that noone will actually bother with it, in not too dis-similar a move to the majority of non quest related content.

Some needs to explain the concept of the word fun to these people.

On the downside, i kinda liked how when they started the new expanion it was mission > then nation quests.

From the new stuff yesterday now its all missions.

Sandy get a big bit of this new story, and the new PLD body armor model whats going to come from allied notes looks awsome.

Fields of Valor looks good to me, I could be standing in the dunes waitin for pty or gettin exp? I know what id rather be doing.

Not for a damp squib of an expansion pack, no. I found ToAU more engaging than WoG - that's really saying something!

And as for the FoV, it's restricted to a single use per day - it SHOULD be limited by difficulty, not by whatever the ****ing time it is in Japan. Stupid @*&!s

I dun think its a damp squib thou thats maybe why. Theres loads of content in there, alot of it solo too. Makes a nice change and the CS are awsome. If FoV was unrestricted there would be no need for low lvl ptys at all.

I wouldn't worry too much, i fully intend on finishing these assualts with you. If anything was worth doing, i'd say it was this.

I suspect it will spawn fresh monsters increased or decreased in level depending, only targettable by the player that triggers them - of course that's how a development team with half a brain between them would handle it, given this is SE we're talking about however absolutely anything (most likely something beyond all comprehension) is possible.

The way i read it is u talk to the book and get the quest.

Says go kill 5 crabs and a fly.

You go do it (normal mobs)

Back to book and win.

But if u are to high a lvl to get exp from the mobs you wont get exp from the quest.

I also read that if this system works they will put it in for higher lvls too!

And I suppose you win a grand total of 1000G from it each time too!

Given how pathetically little the adventurer coupons are worth, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Well that's good news.

I'm not fully sure what is happening with Nyzul Isle over the Christmas break. Our Wednesday runs mean that they fall on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Now I don't intend to be online for NYE but Christmas Eve I would likely be available for any runs. I'll have to speak with group members for whether they will be available for runs on Christmas Eve (hopefully earlier than normal).

The side effect of this is that I will likely have more spare tags over the Christmas break so can work on more clears over that time. Obviously we can continue to do clears on Saturdays in the meantime. If there's some interest with a few members to complete some Nyzul Isle on Christmas Eve but not the full group I may do the run with some open spots (Moot and yourself first refusal) and do 4 boss runs.
