Not too sure what I'm going to be doing about this - I don't have any suitable craft skill apart from fishing and cooking 30ish, everything else is at 0. What is this bizarre trend that SE have with creating the most inane quests imaginable?

You can buy the items straight from AH, and the main synth is Alchemy anyway, so you could always ask me.

How much is everything on the AH? Think I have less than 50k atm but not been online in ages so I don't remember exactly.

2x Dark Crystal

Black Ink: 1k from NPC in Aht Urghan or Bastok Mines (Need 2)
Magicked Blood: 2k or drop from Bats in Ordl. Caves (Need 2)

Result: Enchanted Ink: 6k each AH (need 2)



San d'Oria: Leathercraft

2x Dark Crystal

Parchment: Crafted only or 3k from ah (Need 2)
Pumice Stone: Dropped from Bones in Gusgen Mines. (Need 2)

Result: Fine Parchment: 10k each AH (need 2)



Windurst: Woodworking

1x Earth Crystal

Sheet of Bast Parchment: npc Nashumu or Norg 800gil (Need 2)
Inferior Cocoon: Dropped from Crawlers in Maze of Shak.

Result Padded Box: 9k from AH



End Product: Alchemy

Enchanted Ink x2
Fine Parchment x2
Padded Box x1
Potion depending on the enfeeblement you were asked for (mine was Silence) x1: ah around 1kish

I'd recommend farming the Alchemy and Woodworking ones (get afew for Woodworking) and i'll synth them for you. Just buy the Leathercraft one.

Looks like i'm going to need help on ASA 8. Seriously the most retarded mission i've ever come across. Managed to take out 4 of the NMs. Can't take the slashing one out fast enough using npc Great Katana and BLM Scythe. I've no way of damaging the Ranged one either.

I've not even done all the avatar battles yet. I did one weeks ago but still got five remaining. I'll see if I can be assed tonight but I am off work tomorrow with no Christmas shopping to do

At the end of the 2nd Bastok [S] Quest now, ready for the BC. Both quest CS are the standard we've come to expect from these now, afew ohhhh and ahhhhh so far

Dara what's your ASA status? Did you get the 2nd mission done? Rare is catching upto to mission 9 fast so we'll all be ready to move forward as a group soon.

Just did ASA final fight for the 1st time(complete with fail), all i can say is **** you SE, there is no ****ing way to do that mission without wiping, its in built to the ****ing fight. Zerg only cos if trying to survive the spammed onslaught of ga's and metors and then ulimate 4 rage attacks the shantottos go into is a joke. Seems the fight can only be won if you managed to make it to the last and final rage mode at 10% of one of the taru's HP after that you can sail through(if you have the correct jobs like ACP, otherwise your in for a hard painful fight)
