Chose the Shadow Lord statue to go with the Fafnir one from last year.

Not sure what to do with my rank 4. Need to price up the different options and see which will give me the best gil return. I've also got to consider that I could sell my Leaping Boots or Emperor's hairpin and get the Rare/EX equivalent.

Just went there this morning and he popped after about 20 minutes. Easiest fight yet and got drop. Died about 10 mins ago if you want to go back in a few hours and try yourself.

Well I'd appreciate it if you could help out with it again, don't really have the patience to take both camps at once, plus I kept coming close to death fighting the damn thing just from it's AOE spam, if I'm the main focus of the attacks I have no chance

Yeah, I did mean I'd help.

To solo camp though, you don't need to check both areas. I stay at the PH spawn area and kill that. If after 5 minutes the PH hasn't repopped you know the NM is up so you just hightail it over there.

I only used it for about a week after I bought it which was about a fortnight after I started, it was outdated long before that lol.

I might refer to it from time to time for ability levels and such like, but it's garbage for 99.9% of the rest of the game.

Shame. I was just saying yesterday I'd only pay £98 for a copy of that if it had a small crease on the cover.

Is it hard to get? I have it too - as well as the older american edition..

It's not a bad book neither - though I referred to it a little for about a week and then didn't look at it again - not wanting to taint the experience.

OT: Anyone still playing on Seraph? I started playing again a little over a month ago - level 20 WHM atm.

Nah it's pretty worthless, you could realistically pick it up for less than ?10.
