Nah its repeated hitys with en that are the key, possible rout could be a second NIN. Instead of using katana though go with a pair of fire swoird for enfire and work as the second DD. Main danger there is the RDM running out of MP but if the NIN were to tank the second crab engaged it could make things easier...
To be honest though if Tal and Hic are there we'd have 2 RDMs so we coudl go either way. If we can find a more assured way of winning that has to be good, the 2 x NIN/WAR set up could be that route but obviously risks an orb trying. In that case be worth the RDM have a couple of ethers just in case. If the theory works mind we could own it.

SE Real Money Trading Press Release. Finally a step in the right direction?
RMT Countermeasures
Since the end of last year, item values have risen astronomically on all Worlds due to the manipulation of prices by a small percentage of the player base. The development team and the GMs carried out a detailed investigation of this problem, and discovered the existence of a group using illicit methods to produce large amounts of gil that are later sold in the real world (Real Money Trading). We would like to take this opportunity to outline the measures that have been taken to correct this issue.
Based on the results of this investigation, more than 700 accounts among those found to be involved in large-scale RMT operations have been terminated. We will continue to monitor accounts suspected of dealing in gil created or obtained in an unfair manner.
Thanks to these measures, more than 300 billion gil has been removed from circulation, and the overly inflated prices of items have begun to fall to more realistic levels.
Furthermore, emergency maintenance has already been performed on all worlds for the purpose of implementing RMT countermeasures. This maintenance took place over two stages, starting on January 17th.
As has been previously stated, acts of RMT will not be tolerated in FINAL FANTASY XI, and any violations of the user agreement will be dealt with severely. We would like to assure our players that all efforts are being made to ensure a fair playing experience.
We hope to have your continuing understanding and cooperation in creating a Vana'diel that everyone can enjoy.

I'm stunned, DAragon my apologies you were right. I stand here a man awestruck and mostly impressed. I know some of our major seller accounts are still around on Seraph (Chrismeng and Clo for sure) but any move is a good move. Looked last night couldn't find the #money accounts, skytiger or sunni.
Today we shall raise a glass to SE!
God I hpe they delete proven buyer accounts from those known to have received gil from seller accounts!Last edited by Tsingtao; 09-02-2006, 11:57.

Sorry but once again the same thing happened last year and the problem doesn?t go away. Does no one remember the excitement we felt on the news that X amount of RMT accounts were banned almost exactly 12 months ago? In the end nothing was different. People pop up in their place as quickly as they were banned.
Most interesting part of the statement is the acknowledgement that (as we suspected) the price rises were manipulated to some extent. But this was not solely the result of RMTers. Remember the ridiculous 200% price increase on the Byrnie in 1 sale? I think it was Bayan who highlighted the fact that that seemed to be a transaction between 2 players in the same HNMLS. It?s a sad state of affairs when people we consider our own (in terms of regular players against the RMT) are contributing to the problem.
So, minor props to S-E I guess for at least doing something but I have become so cynical over this issue that I can envisiage the problem resurfacing sooner or later. And also, how ****s like Gimya an Chrismeng (some of the most prominent and harmful RMTers on our server) continue to slip under the net amazes me.

I think SE didn't target the actual gilfarmers, but the mules and accounts that the gil is stored on before being sold.

Now 0/8 on Dune Widow which I am starting to find a little fustrating...
I think it may be wise to forget about it at the moment (still 3 more levels on RDM until I can even equip it) and concentrate my efforts in other areas. So with this in mind my short term goals before I return to leveling my sub jobs are:
Sleepga II NM
BCNM20
and thats about it! Tobal - Tsing - Darwock, shall we try and choose a date for the Sleepga II NM? It is going to be tough, both the NM and the mobs in the surrounding area so we will need to recruit help (bring your friends etc^^). I should be good to try this on any of the next three evenings as long as I know in advance.Last edited by talizker; 10-02-2006, 06:41.
