Tried this myself tonight, got through riverne easy enough, alot easier than the A site. First shot at Ouryu didn't go too badly - plenty of enfeebles sticking, both blms getting off consecutive freeze spells. Was going well until a stray bloody bolt woke the ****er up and when you're on the recieving end of an attack causing 450 damage, it tends to hurt quite a bit ; ;

I'm certainly finding things a lot easier now that I have my enfeeble magic capped, I was quite impressed how he only managed to resist sleep the once.

On April 20, 2006, the FINAL FANTASY XI: Treasures of Aht Urhgan expansion disc will be shipped.

Due to the number of new features included in this expansion, an update of the game will be required for all players (even those who have not installed the expansion). This version update will be performed on the following date in conjunction with the release of the expansion. FINAL FANTASY XI will not be affected during this period, and play will continue as normal.

By a happy coincidence it seems we may be attempting 4-2 tonight too (depending on Apathye). Wish I'd remembered sooner as when we had an aborted attempt 2 weeks ago we agreed to try again today and only remembered last night when I was farming Hippos. (It does depend on Apa being able. He wasn't around last night).

Sadly that means the tailfeathers I got last night I can't givce to you guys

ok that gives us

me - 2 feathers, tsing - 1, darwock - 5 giving us a grand total of 8 - 4 melts, 1 for each melee+tali, i think if we can get 4 more so wedge and myself have 2 each we'll be good to go.

As for tactics i have yet to read up on them, will soon. I assuming the line up to be Pld, Whm, Blm, Rdm, Sam, Bst.

I bet that maintenance does interfere with our plans... I have a bad feeling about it actually as I've been experiencing random R0's and disconnects for a few days, plus talizker's POL errors all point to the old classic 'server problems' rearing their head again. They were always extra bad after a version update.

New person on my blacklist after last night.. the same guy I talked about before who expected me to kill mobs on command. This guy (Sof) has been sending me party invites on a nightly basis, never takes no for an answer - three times out of around 6 or 7 I've caved in and gone to join him and all three times it's been such a disorganised mess we've disbanded before fighting a single mob. After the last time it was really pissing me off as I keep interrupting what I'm doing, forking out gil for OP warps, then having to go all the way back again having lost an hour I could have spent elsewhere. Happened again last night, I'd asked for a guide to the camp I'd never been to in a zone I didn't have the map for (not a big ask surely)... Sof was the guide but didn't stop for sneak/invis recasts so disappeared into the distance. The whm was also running around lost and died after losing invis, I ran out of powder while trying to find my way and got aggro, warped and died in Jeuno. Toxicforce and that kasha that's always with him were in the group too, that kasha turned out to be a bit of a ***** too (made some comment like "they're not f*&king babies they need to know the way".. yeah maybe it'll come to me in a dream one night)

Blisted Sof so I never feel the compulsion to join one of his parties again, he couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

My group that attempted him last night had 5 mistmelts between us I think it was and the item only brings him down for few seconds rather than keeps him down - if you run out you'll need to keep him on the ground with spells, and sadly there's no indication of when he's going to take off.

I can see how he'd be easy with the right combination of jobs, we got the impression that war/nin for tank just didn't cut it however

Are we assuming on Hic WHMing as far as I'm aware she's not planning on being on as she's out tonight and not aware she's part of the run.

In other news just seen Kerushi online but he's not repsonding to tells, any chance you could let us know if its you mate. Worried somethign bad has happened to your accoutn mate.

That was certainly my assumption, I was under the impression we were a fixed group for CoP - unless I'm mistaken Wedge's whm isn't anywhere near level 50 so we can't swap around like we (nearly) did for Diabolos.

So I guess we either reschedule or get a pick up healer?
