Sleep or stun at the beginning of the fight will counter his stoneskin. When I tried him, I missed the window for stun, but I slept him just as he pulled it off. Since none of the melees could actually inflict any damage to Ouryu, he wouldn't wake up until his stoneskin wore off.

x2 consecutive freeze spells from my party's blm duo hit for about 700+ each , but since I'd elemental Seal'd the spell, he started to resist my sleep 2 which wasn't good.


After a rather uncharacteristic challenge-less encounter with Diabolos, I thought a well rounded group would take Ouryu with little problems. The key to victory here is nuke, sleep, hate control - ancient magic against this guy is like a whm using benediction....

some guy had done lewis sized assholeness to sae,meric and someone else but unfortantly instead of shutting up after 15 mins of bickering they carried on and the brother of this person they had beef with left. And thats the end of that Chapter.

What's happened with the LS then? Who was the new member that left, and why was there a bad reaction from the LS? My pearl went back into storage a few days ago so at least I can safely say I played no part in this one...

Also Daragon, please sort out your debts to other LS members before you start claiming nobody is fair to you. It might be a small amount but I guarantee it's not going to be forgotten.

I agree that that situation probably isn't helping things much, but this whole "nobody being fair with me" would probably stem back further than that. Anyway, I did offer to send the 60k to you that was still owed so you could distribute it amongst the remaining members but you never got back to me.

On another note I'm currently seeking opinions on what we beleive are acceptable actions for LS members with other LS members. This has never been an issue in the past and I'm sorry to have to raise it, but I'd like our policy to be clear. At all times in the past we have worked together to help each other progress and strengthen the LS.

My take on this as a 'part time' member of Rargh, is that the LS has become very loose around the edges and you're not just talking to your close friends in the game anymore, keep in mind who you're talking to when you give out information like that. Basically trust no-one... I've seen Rargh members talking about MPK attempts they've made and stuff, so not everyone in Rargh can be held in the highest regard as players.

That's your excuse???? It's now my fault is it? Rarehero has already managed to hand out everybodies share of the military pick, and that sold at least a month *after* you sold the lance!

By the way I still have it at 80K, as only Saerik & Bevan that I know of have received anything. Who are the others you have paid?

As for Tsings post, I agree about camping against LS members, only times I think its fair game is:

If you had planned to camp the NM at that time and not knowing another LS member was also.

Even then though its probably best to team up and help each other get it.

But to be honest I don't see it being an issue thats comes by often.

What is the stance on members MPKing known gil sellers? I've heard talk about that on the shell a few times myself.

I?d be interested in what you feel is people being unfair to you Daragon. I know I?ve stopped offering advice to you but not because of gil or anything but mostly because you seem to ignore it anyway. The number of times people told you it would be far, far easier to solo you coloured chip for the Pso?Xja pass last weekend was staggering, yet you still insisted on taking a lvl50 tank (I think?!) with you then made a post complaining about how many times you died and all the hassles you had.

On your own you could have been in and out in less than an hour.

As for last night (if anyone remotely gives a crap about what I think), it seemed a lot of drama over something that was really simple in my eyes. Saerik, Meric and whoever else were not obligated to be forgiving of anyone who they feel they were wronged by in the past. Likewise the person in question was not obligated to apologise either. However, I firmly believe that invites/removal to/from the shell are group decisions and should never rest on the opinion of 1 or 2 members. If said person had gotten in and the majority of the LS were agreeable, any minority with complaints had no right to continue expressing them.

Also, I hope we won?t see any more repeats of LS members threatening others with breaking of pearl if they do something they are not happy about. That is really poor form.

I didn't actually conclude that anyone was being unfair to me, I think Darwock decided that one. All I said was I being ignored more than usual which I can now appreciate the reason for. As for the Pso X'ja chip, as I'm sure Mosley will confirm, the two of us spent almost 2 hours farming it in one of the towers. Drop rate does seem to be fast with thf and TH2, but I wasn't taking any chances at soloing with mine being at 52.

For the record, I do NOT ignore advice and I take all relevant information on board. Joining a group (one which I didn't arrange) felt at the time like a good idea as by having a lvl 72 thf in it, I came to the conclusion that my farming session would be a brief one.
