Didn't get on until late last night but big thanks to D for coming to assist getting the 2 Anima I needed. Decided to tryWHM/NIN with as much DD/EVA gear as I could find in my MH's lol. Teleport then dual weilding wands, Utsusemi and Dia/Paralyze/Regen seemed to work pretty damn well... ^_~

I'm all set for tonight equipment wise. I am out most of the day so could someone post here what meds we are going to need (Poison etc.) as I'm not going to have time to check that out. Also, i'll be on as soon as I can, will try for 8pm....!

Im like 80% sure I can make CoP tonight but there is a slight just I will have to go out, its unlikely but right now I can't commit 100%.

Well wedge did make and we beat CoP 5.2, about 2hrs worth of trekking around promey fighting NM?s (Holla NM type kicked over ass, but wedge crab held on long enough to beat it) and then a 3 x NM fight with all the Promey Bosses, which went a lot smoother. Wish I hadn?t D2 now, needed to pick up a CS in another tower in the glacier, then back to Cid for the finish. CS for Chapter 5 have been very good, tying up a lot little things from Zilart.

Next up if the 3 path?s for us, lots of Cutscenes and NM fights around the world. The only sticking point being the 3 Mithra trackers Bcnm and Snoll(bomb) Bcnm. I want to try and complete 1 path each week.

Tonight finish those cutscenes then go earn some normal exp, to cover potential exp lose to come.

For CoP? Or something else? I went straight back to Bastok and got a cutscene, and started on the next mission ('three paths'). I got asked a question regarding what I wanted to do next - I hope our answers don't restrict our options (for what it's worth I said I was going to look for Prishe).

Regarding the Bowyer Ring stuff, I'm now on the 2nd quest in the series (question of faith) and have been given a key item to take to the moblins - I intend to go back there on thursday to try the solo ENM* again so will try and wrap it up then.

Also I'm at 10 seals to go for a BCNM60, which I know Wedge & Tobal also want to do. Any other takers?

*solo ENM - lost it on saturday, I was kicking myself because if I'd used ES on my flare I might still have won it (got a 50% resist) but really the luck was just against me. One moblin roll gave him 300% TP and instead of brainshaker he used shining strike, that nearly finished me... then just as I was about to win he gave the puppet 500hp back. Very annoying as it cost me 60K to get in that time. I've never had the puppet use it's 2hr, no doubt that will happen on thursday...

(taking BLM up to 20 until my mate gets started, WHM is supposed to be my primary job)

As well as that, I'm also trying to make a million before he gets on. Checked this morning and my first 100K was waiting in my delivery box!

...That's as well as buying my mates gear and spells, my mate that's yet to start has all BLM spells up to Fire (apart from poison, I can't find that one) and will eventually have my Legionnaires staff.

I can't believe how much money is to be made from copper ingots. I also can't believe I'm buying stacks of fire crystals 2 days into the game. lol. I doubt there will be money like this to be made from crafting until much further in the game.

If my mate gets on before I go to Amsterdam he can look after the copper ingot business until I get back. lol.

Last night was a magic display, I thought we'd have at least one wipe in there somewhere. Instead it was a majestic display...

So now comes 5-3 and a load of stuff to do, I propose we start with the Tenzen path as that looks the most straight forward. I'm out all weekend this week so if we want to move forward we'd have to go Tonight, Tuesday or Wednesday. After that I'm not around until Monday night and then will most likely be a state.

Tenzen path involves no BCs but does have 2 fights, one 50 cap and then an uncapped. I reckon we could do this one end to end in a couple of hours nothing special needed.

Sadly nothing as exciting for me as you guys.

Topped up my ninja tools as planned which also led to me levelling my Alchemy (up to 30 now) and I?ve spotted a nice looking synth that I can use for skill now that should bring in nice profit too. Only tools I lack at present is Poison as one of the ingredients for that is extremely difficult to find (Elshimo Frog). Not available via any vendor so either a (rareish) drop of Sahagins or fished up

However, the best thing was helping Caladbolg get his Ifrit?s Cauldron key which got me the last few WS points needed to activate the latent effect on the Senjuinrikio meaning it now has DMG:38 and critical hit rate +6%. 500 WS points without creating a single level 3 Darkness was quite a trek but I owe a great debt of thanks to Moot and especially Wedge for all their help with it. We created lots of Gravitations in the last couple of weeks.

Which pretty much completes my task list of a few weeks ago after getting my O.Hat. Most pressing now is clearing ZM14 and Divine Might for a Suppanomimi.

One thing worth mentioning is that one of the paths requires us to use a gold key each as I understand it. I picked up a gold key some time ago, I think Elite gave it to me but we will need to farm / buy the rest of them. Keep your eyes open and grab one if they seem a sensible price (used to be 50k). In addition a snow lily will be needed each for the same path though I'm not sure how the AH supply is so it may be worth getting when you see one.

Where do gold keys and snow lilys come from?

I've been in two minds about saying this but my FFXI days could well be numbered, I'd really like to avoid any huge time-outs in CoP like we've had in previous missions so lets do our best to keep it moving.. hopefully we can be done by August.

Snow lily's are dropped from Ulegerand Tigers, Snolls and Cwn Awwn dogs in the Ulegerand Range or can be bought on the AH.

All the mobs in the Ulegerand Range are 60 - 62.

Gold keys are dropped from Goblin Fireman, Goblin Foreman, Goblin Lengthman, Goblin Packman, Goblin Packman and Goblin Yardman in Newton Movalpolis or bought from a bazaar.

Allthe mobs in Newton Movalpolis are around level 66 - 68.

These are used on the last path we'll do so we'll need them in around 2 - 3 weeks time.

Right, good stuff I've never been to Ulegerand Range so there's a good excuse. At that level I can do it solo as an NPC levelling exercise.

Newton Movalpolos is different, I can't risk that one alone. Maybe a three man NPC/skill up session or something can be arranged?
