That RDM deserves a ban - there's no way I should have took 200HP worth of damage immediately after pulling a snipper, ending up dead, and then getting tractored out against my will (it just happened!!). I was 30tnl and just about to get out of that **** party as well.

After I got stuck he kept pointing fun as he ran away, and then kept coming back with sarcastic comments.

He was one of two power levellers that lead my party to eventual wipe, and then ran off without saying anything. Moot can confirm that.

I kept getting party invites from ppl as they wanted to see where I was on the map.

Yup, it's taken me three days just to get a basic grip of how things work , no thanks to having no number pad or mouse though.

I had my 39PLD from Beta, I even offered POL a cash bribe to migrate him and they wouldn't do.

I might log onto Unicorn, call a GM, and say... "Mate!! I've logged on and now I'm on the wrong server!!!! Pls help!! " lol. Could that work?

On another topic i went from 60 to half way to 63 over the weekend lvling in Bhaflau Thickets! First time this weekend ive lvl'd in the new areas and it seems all but a little easy. When we had me(drk), ninx2,brd,whm and blm we had no down time what so ever and about 180-225 exp per mob! In the end i fell asleep during the pty good job the mobs dont aggro in that area

Man... having my 39PLD on Seraph would be mega. ; ; I'd put down Daviravi (or just level his crafting) and concentrate on catching you up Tickle. I have a week off approaching so I'd bite a big chunk out of those 20lvls or so.

When my other grain sells (I have 170k, waiting for another 180k) I could really splash out on PLD ware.

Now I'm getting my hopes up. ; ;

I hate to be a party pooper but hey won't migrate, not ever, not even then, or under any circumstance other than when they choose to offer one. Last migration was to offload accounts from heavily populated servers to lower population servers. The migrations were heavily controlled with the migrating servers given the choice of 1 or 2 servers to move to.

The one prior to that was so long ago I barely rembmer what happened, think it was the same. There really is no way to convince SE to move you many have tried in there time with loads of approaches none ahve ever been done.

I've noticed EXP has gotten a little easier myself... There are supposed to be new magic resistances but I'd say it's the other way around... My party in Crawlers' Nest (BLM, WHM, NIN, THF, BLU, PLD), didn't even have a BRD and we had no downtime... that was with me nuking to high hell too.

Me and the (admittedly pimped) Galka WHM never went below 50% MP unless we were fighting 2 mobs at once (one slowed by my 1337 slowing skillz) which was more often that not as the puller knew we could easily handle it.

If EXP is getting easier then I suppose that's fair enough... I just hope the BCNMs don't get watered down. If anything they should get pumped up... I'm talking 'staff ghost' difficulty.

I don't want to end up ploughing 4,000 hours into an 'easy' girly game with predictable results. Sure, deaths piss ppl off, but I revel in it sometimes... I like the satisfaction in taking down something that has repeatedly beat me in the past.

Must admit its ac oncern of mine as well Davi over the last 12 months more and more gimping has been done to make the game easier. Not to impressed myself, I liked it when it was at FFXI set to hard level.

I still would like to see the whole MPK patch reverted adn the xp requirements raised back to original. Particaualry with the new hyper fast xp late in the game.

Your probably just seeing things that have not been available at the lower levels and that is why things appear easier.

Firstly, the magic resistance thing is only applicable to anything that checks Impossible to Gauge (so NMs, boss battles etc.) It was never intended to affect EXP and even against monsters where it does apply a single BLM is unlikely to see any effect.

Secondly, that party was probably your first experience with a competent NIN at a stage where they come into their own. Solo NIN tanking is not viable until level 37 and at level 40 they get a series of spells that make them incredibly powerful (in fact due to the way ninjutsu works, a NIN is at one of his most powerful points between 40-50). If the NIN is played well it is the premier tanking option in the game and you get results like it sounded you got. Sadly truly top notch NIN are few and far between. Too many try and get by with using minimal spells. I hate these Ninjas.

Dj?s easy EXP is probably a combination of having 2 NIN but also the EXP bonus that is awarded in Aht Urghan areas when the Astral Candesence is in Al Zahbi.

Relish these ?fun? EXP parties. You?ll need them as memories for when you have a lousy party (which will happen unfortunately).

Interesting I had some very high exp sessions in the earlyish 60's in the new areas. That slowed down dramatically at Lv65-Lv66. Not sure if its just me and the parties i've been in mind.

This is why I'm so glad we have 5 of us in the lvl.15 range... I think me, Maria, Kupo, Moot + Saer (if he even enjoys WHM) should wait for Foe to get to lvl.15 and then we'll be all set, no reason why we can't level 3/4 times in 2/3hrs with that set-up, depending on mob availability in crowded areas.

My 8hrs in the dunes yesterday was a disaster (1000exp in that time), culminating with those 'n00bs' who thought they were PL'ers. Powerlevelled FAQ-groomed wankers!!

Meh premier tanking, listen to the NIN eh?

We all know PLD is the premier tanking option, nothing we can't handle as we actually come with defence instead of shadows. NINs fold like tinfoil if they get stripped, nothing has that effect on us. However what we do need is a decent support team where as NIN can make up for crap everything else.
