Sniggering at your equipment, when? You seem to have the wrong end of yet another angry stick. The only time recently I have been ?elitist? to another rargh member was Daragon boasting about having +23 INT on blm, which for being lvl75 is quite low, I was corrected by him say he was in a 60cap so I took it back, nothing about AF. Other jab?s at daragon are always towards his innate ability to get lost, agro and die anywhere which is always source of much humour for those that know him.
The last time I talked about poor equipment was a monk last week, using full monk AF at level75, leeching on the party, his damage was poor. And im spending my hard worked gil on bullets and cards for this guy?s free ride when he could quite easily put a little work in to getting the good ?FREE? equipment from assault or camp one of the now many Rare/ex NM mobs for o.kote, Fuma?s, etc.etc. not going up against gil sellers.
If you check my gear you?ll find all but a 3/4 items are RARE/EX worked bloody hard for to get via, Dynamis, Limbus, Assault, BCNM, NM camping, if you can?t be arsed to do the same it?s none of my business unless you?re leeching. As for using AF at 70+ it depends on the job, my CoR would quite easily get away using standard AF, my Sam for 3 years used AF pants all the time, until I upgraded them in limbus to +1 a couple of months ago. Wearing old equipment isn?t the problem, It?s wearing old equipment that is surpassed by higher level, easy or cheap to obtain equipment with a bit of work.
Plus this always more of a case of your levelling practices, levelling a 2x starter job?s together to 75 is stupid, especially with no gil pool. None of us to my knowledge have levelled 2 jobs together when we started out, we all did one job got it high level and then use that to feed gil into other jobs, and all of us never had super fancy equipment on our first jobs either(except maybe rare, but that?s his own fault
). I went to into my 60?s using not of the low level uber gear I would gain later on(kotes, CoP equipment), the only time I stopped was to get Haubie in which I farmed hard for 3months.
