Need another shot at Hydra with AaD, our first run wasn't to bad given we had very little healing or DD with us. The principals seem easy, pretty much like the fafhog fight without nukes.

Hoping a bit of practice on that will have us ready for Khaimera and the Hauteclaires

My buffer is recovered again bact to 10k so ready to merit again, I'm quite fgancying a merit party next week. Either that or more RDM action but still camping the AH for my penitents rope.

Going to start the lowbies as well BRD and DRK to 10 then Valkurm Dunes FTW heck of it. Be a nice break form higher level fun...

...and the weekend, well here's hoping Kirin is kind at last!

We have confirmed an issue with the World Transfer Service that can cause characters to not be correctly transferred. We have also confirmed due to this issue that there are cases where new characters may not be created. For these reasons, we are temporarily suspending the World Transfer Service.

Currently, we are investigating to find the cause of the issue and working to correct it. New updates will follow as additional information becomes available.

Well there goes another gods run and still Kirin seems to have some form of hate for me . No Crimson again but at least we finally got a Hecatomb body to drop and Genbu was good enough to produce Zenith Mitts. Rest of the run was pretty poor, our drop rate is stinking despite bringing aTH4 THF this time.

Other than that was pretty much not online this weekend, need to have a nosey later see how badly bent my xp buffer was by this week Kirin which seemed to be a pain.

We had some good stuff from our gods last night.

I was late turning up so missed the Seiryu but one NIN got Shura-Zunari Kabuto abjuration. I was also not on tanking duty for our Genbu but it seems from that we got Genbu’s Kabuto, Genbu’s Shield and 2 Zenith Mitts abjurations (one of which went to Moot which he was very happy about

I was called in for the Byakko tanking of which we spawned 2. First one dropped a veritable trove of goodies including Zenith Crown, Adaman Feet, Byakko’s Axe (Moot’s), Byakko’s Haidate, a Divine Log and a Behemoth Hide. Second wasn’t quite as good but we did net another Zenith Crown and pair of Haidate.

Haidate drop rate has been very kind to us but I can guarantee when my turn comes around it won’t drop for ages.

Lol that's me rare we we're going roughly 1/2 for Crimson then came Tsing, it's not been seen now for the last 4! Hopefully we will do another one this weekend then I'm away at the British GP for the weekend, bet your ass it willd rop then!

The turtle and his Koenig as well I reached 0/14 last night, it's droped eve turtle I've missed

Haidate seems roughly 50% as well, if we go with 2 we exepct 1 2/2 is very good and 2/1 on Z Mitts is awesome thats a drop that's been very unkind to us. We'd not seen them for a while but are now rought 2/4 on them.

Its odd really I was wondering if it was moon or day affecting drops but you were there same time as us. We didn't get more than 1 abjurtion from any kill and we had 2 x TH3 and 1 x TH4. Very strange...

It is incredibly annoying when it happens. Similar thing happened with my Koga Hakama in Dynamis. I saw at least 1 drop on every Dynamis-San d’Oria I did then when the time came that I would have actually been able to lot on it earlier this month, it never dropped.

the moon phase defenatly affects the drops you get. Waxing moon close to or at 100% is best time for drops ... as soon as the moon starts to enter the waining phase drop rates begin to suck bad ... same for crafting

Also, don't think Darwock reads any more but thought of him when we ran Phomiuna Aqueducts this evening and Mahisha was up. Killed with our group and got Sinister Mask drop which went to Davi so {Congratulations}.

Awright there dj.. I'm good - (well not really I fell off a bike on saturday night and smashed in two front teeth... but that's by the by - I can still drink beer).

Got some net access right now while I look after my next door neighbours goldfish, planning to get internet installed in my own place pretty soon. That will pave the way for a return to FFXI.

Unfortunately the more pressing concerns right now are new teeth and taking the missus to Yakushima in August.. so a PC is not going to be coming as soon as I hoped.

Bizzarely for June we have been very busy at work and with staff on holiday for the last couple of weeks my posts here have been somewhat limited. I actually came across the last email we exchanged over the weekend and was going to contact you!

The only noteworthy FFXI news is I finally hit Lv75 a few weeks back which I was very happy about!
