      Hey yakumo..
just wanting to know if you have ever reviewed, Cotton for the Super famicom. Panorama Cotton for the megadrive and Gley lancer and Eliminate down for megadrive also?
If you have which episodes are they on?
If not, do you think you could do that for us?

      Thanks.

Nice episode again mate. I loved the Moeru justice gakuen/ Project Justice review. I love that game and it still plays amazingly well now.

Although no where near those of SC, I really thought the graphics were excellent and had a certain charm. I think the 'extra's of the game weren't really necessary for Western markets too, but i guess they could have left them in and done a quick translation.

Still nice to have another DC exclusive.

Love how you didn't mention anything about SOTN's graphics being inferior to the Psone version's. Typical Sony hating Yakumo.

          SFC Cotton 100% = Nope
MD Panorama Cotton = Yep but I can't remember which volume now. I'll get back to you on that.
MD Gley Lancer = Nope but it will be done some day.
MD Eliminate Down = Nope and probably won't be because I'm not paying the stupidly high price it fetches. It's not even that good.

If I were to, at some point, considering buying all the Retro Core's on DVD, how much would you reckon that would be? I am considering it after Xmas is done and dusted.

Yep, it's volume 3, one of the very early and crappy Retro Cores

Good work Yakumo, I'm really enjoying and appreciating this.
So many games I've never heard about and so many almost forgotten gems and here and there a real dog^^'
Although some of your game descriptions are a bit on the shallow side (but the sheer variety of games featured is compensating for this), most of 'em are fun and more often than not your taste in games is overlapping with mine (EAR for the saturn being gotm).

But what has been bugging me a little about your last volume, you're complaining about the lack of good racing games on N64 but that's a little easy if you're only playing the mediocry or downright crappy ones. You should really try out Ridge Racer 64 an
d World Racing Championchip or even Beetle Adventure Racing. The N64 has something to offer for the fan of the racing game genre (with all the Nintendo/Rare Racers, Wipout or San Franciso Rush 2049 I'd even say it has quite a lot to offer).

                        Anyway, thx for Retro Core!

EIDT: Ahh, I meant "Wolrd Driver Championchip", not "World Racing Championchip", but it only got an US release so you'd have to import it.

Ah, you see I know there are some good racing games on the N64 such as the Beetle Adventure Racing one but I'm trying to see why many people rave on about all the other ****e out there. Sadly Ridge Racer or Wipeout never got a Japanese release so I doubt I'll ever see them going. I never thought much of San Francisco Rush though. One day I will splash out on the Beetle Game for review

I've actually been watching tons of Retro Core this weekend, watching it whenever I have meals etc, really great stuff

The coverage is exactly the sort of stuff most of us all love round here, Japanese console games with a bit of western thrown in, some we all know and love, others we know of but might not have made the jump to check out, and it's really the kind of stuff I love to see in a retro feature, most of it just not getting the coverage they deserve anywhere else. And it's always a real pleasure hearing you doing the reviewing (well, the general voiceover stuff), because we all know it's a fellow gamer going for the same stuff as us, not some hired guy reading from a script.

(*Oh btw, have the point out, the Dreamcast was a Naomi w/ half the RAM, thus far above the Model 3, but you no doubt knew that :P *)

Anyway, slowly working through the stuff, backwards, can't wait for the next one

Great work again, mate! Maria is actually from Rondo of Blood, though. I guess Eric from the Mega Drive game does look like a woman in a lot of the concept art, mind you!

And Richter has a T in it!

Loved the Gunstar Heroes bit, too. One of my all-time faves, and its quality is unsurprising given that some of the chaps who made Contra III and Axelay worked on it!

Gonna be reviewing Last Hope soon, mate?
