8GB on the MySEGA server and also 8GB on RadioSEGA, so 16GB in total. Space, I just checked and I have way less than I expected, I can give you 800MB (2 x 400MB) so I guess that's only space for one episode per server?

I should of checked before I offered, I thought I had a few GBs... If you're still interested in using 'em to mirror the latest episodes then sure.

Gaiden is easily one of the very best Gradius games, craptest.

You can get the PSOne Books version for about 15 quid on Play-Asia, too.

Ah, 29 will be available for download on the 10th February (downloads come out on the 10th of each month) but it maybe worth checking a little earlier because sometimes the archive.org servers will put it up sooner than it should. I'm also thinking about putting it on to GoogleVideo (YouTube has crap quality plus too short)

Gettting it now been there on the off-chance for 10 days since you said they sometimes post them early lol

Im not sure if this has been brought to your attention Yakumo, but those missiles you attempted to dodge in Sin & Punishment (aircraft carrier level) - you're actually better off hitting them with your sword. Doing so sends them back to their owner and inflicts a fair bit of damage.

I'd suggest starfox 64 is somewhat simlar to S&P on the N64 (in response to your comment). Both are essentially on-rails shooters. SF64 mixes things up with tedious free range sections. S&P goes sidescroller briefly near the end. S&P is easily the better game of course.

And with regards to the RE4 J/NTSC censorship. When you shoot them in the face does the head actully come off? It didnt appear to in the downloadable video. Im fairly cetain that my PAL version features clean head removal (though Id have to check to be 100% sure) via shotgun.

You should consider an R-Type series feature or at least track down the wonderful R-Type Delta (PSX). R-Type Final imo is as **** as Super R-type (yet it got a 9/10 from EDGE. LOL!!).

Im sure youre capable of coming up with your own game lists but here's a few Id love to see in future shows.....

                  Einhander (PSX)
                  P.N.03 (GCN)
Billy Hatcher (GCN) - so broken yet a personal fav for the system.
                  Vib-Ribbon (PSX)

Thanks for the hint mate but the game is now sold

Yep, you can shoot the heat right off with a few weapons. It sort of explodes which looks really cool. I did find out what was censored though. In the US version the mad chainsaw guy can lob off your head while in the Japanese one he doesn't. That's what was censored on the Japanese version. No big deal really. I thought it was something bigger than that but apparently not.

EDGE have been full of **** since day one You probably know that they don't even play through games when they review them.

I'll gladly feature R-Type Delta if you buy it for me I don't buy many PSX games mainly because I don't collect them (No space) so they MUST be cheap before I consider buying them because once I've played them they get sold.

I've got P.N.03 and Einhander but have yet to play either of them. One day in the future you'll see them.

Just wanted to say cheers for all your effort in bringing us RetroCore. Its bloody fantastic. I have to say my favourite part of the show is the commentary!

That would make the Japanese version a tad easier, as the fear of him lobbing your head off was always there every time you had to deal with one of them buggers. He's tame otherwise.

I thought they removed the female enemies, but I must be wrong.

                        Comment

Oh no, the females are still in it. There's even one with a chainsaw !! The Chainsaw guys are still scarry buggers though because they still kill you pretty quick. It's just that you drop to the ground in a pool of blood rather then having your head lobbed off.

Thanks mate. Volume 30 is now almost complete and I must say it's a lot better than what volume 29 was.

There really is no consistancy with your review scores! A game you spend the entire review slagging off might get 8/10, while a game you seem to really like might end up with 6/10!

Still, always really cool and interesting to watch

                            Comment

Yep, that's right It all depends upon how I feel that day. The scores mean bugger all anyway so I'm going to drop them from volume 31.

Some news on new Retro Cores. Volume 30 will be out on the 10th for all to download. Here's a list of what's on it along with the very poor effort of a cover.

Retro Core Vol.30 takes a look at the defences between a real gamers arcade and a family arcade in Japan. Loads of great games shown so defiantly one not to miss.

                              Console games this month include...
Card Captor Sakura and Last Hope for the Dreamcast
Pilotwings 64 and Extreme G2 for the N64
Hard Drivin' (****e of the month), Gun Frontier and Quovadis 2 for the Saturn
Crying and Gain Ground on the Mega Drive
F-Zero GX (game of the month) for the Game Cube
Sengoku 2 for the Neo Geo
                              Paperboy on the Master System
D2 (What ever happened to...) Panasonic M2
and Ridge Racer Wide Screen for the Moblie Phone

That's not all the Retro Core action you'll get in March though. In the later half of the month I'll be releasing the Dreamcast Shooting Special II. I'll let the DVD covers tell you what's going to be featured.
