Sounds like you've got a Duo R or Duo RX - the original Duo was dark purple.

With an arcade card duo you would be able to play almost every game, except for a handful that insist on certain versions of the system card.

Just checked, its the black one with the purple button (fancy not knowing your own consoles). i've been advised to stay away from CD games are the original duo's had an overheating problem and sometimes the audio can not play correctly on CD based games, so i'm just going for the hu cards

No really, The Amiga version is very good. The Amiga did have a couple of good arcade convertions.

Still prefer the Megadrive one though, even if it is New Zealand Story Remix...

I am gonna through in Don Doko Don into the PCE platforming mix.

It can be a frustrating game, but boy was Taito H O T back then.

btw anyone got the arcade board for sale?

Amiga had some good conversions, NewZealand Story, Rainbow Islands, RodLand, Parasol Stars, Mega Twins, Black Tiger, plus others.

I just wish the snes had received some conversions, I think it's slow processor prevented companies like Taito bothering.

I don't think the final list of whats going on the disc has been released yet.
But its coming next year and i can't wait.

Theres stacks of ace Taito stuff so it may well be released in volumes a la Namco museum. But that just speculation.

If its a pitiful amount of games I will be annoyed. Taito games in particular are very small files, though the games are big on fun, it's still would be dodgy if they only put 6games on a disc. Then again, how many classic Taito games are there, only a handful that I can think of.
