All the recent chatter about the SNES has made me want to try it out so I bought a cable off eBay that lets me connect to SCART and bought a few games:
Cybernator, Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario Kart and Tiny Toons: Buster Busts Loose. (Thanks to acidbearboy for all but Cybernator).

I've only really tried Super Mario World at some length, but it's fab!

I also saw a few mentions of Viewtiful Joe, but never had chance to play it. 99p on eBay later and it's mine!
I've played it a few times and I really like how it's a combat puzzler. Slow this down, speed that up and so on. I still can't get passed that massive barrel quite early on! I've beaten it up in slow-motion and fast-forward until my powers run out, but it still won't break.

What am I doing wrong?!

Do you mean after you get the mach speed ability? If so -

uppercut the barrel into the air & just mach speed under it

It's not easy to find complete i have only ever seen one complete copy of it & it was on yahoo auctions, however if your not fussed about cart only theres on on eby right now.

Wish I didn't get the SMT chip now, really small. Can hide it behind the PCB though which is nice. Looks great!

Yeah the later levels are a bit tough. I'd love to see a re-make, would make a fun 3DS game that's for sure...

I'm not far at all currently, still getting to grips with the game. Foolishly I bought the JP version so I can't actually read the control hints.. Figured it out now though.
