Worth noting they are doing MD and MS games for buy one, get one free. Phasing out retro by the looks of it.

Same story at the Burton on Trent branch. The retro section now takes up a third of the space it originally did. I didn't think it would last long.

Waku Waku Boxset, OK it's not a patch on the superb Neo version but for a fiver i couldn't resist.
Gradius Deluxe pack, I thought Gradius V was hard but this is nails.



Alzadick, I haven't bought anything for me Engine/Duo for ages and thought this looked good. Screenshots look very Star Soldier inspired.
Cho Aniki, Dodgy shooter ahoy......Worth a fiver? Only time will tell.



Gekioh-Shooting King, Never heard of this before but it was only a couple of squid. Closer inspection revels it's by Warashi so i'm guessing it's a US version of Shienryu?.
Thunder Force V, Must....have....shiny Working Designs cases.

Gradius Deluxe Pack - smart! But yes, incredibly unforgiving stuff. Gradius didn't really get fun to play until Gaiden in my opinion. I still love 1-4 though, mainly for the design and the awesome music.

Splatterhouse =

Oh yeah. Its a superb piece of software too. The pce version is good..but this is staggeringly good. Although you'd expect nothing less from a 32bit machine tbh. Saturn splatterhouse..that would have been cool if it had ever been done.

As for the rest, only played Tiger and Libble so far. Tiger again is an amazing conversion, best I've played by some considerable margin, and Libble..wicked fun. That dual d-pad is certainly needed

If you haven't got a marty but like the games it has get one now. Best conversions you can get, period. And the game packages are just very sexy too. That splatterhouse face
