This has been sitting in my local single chain video store for some time, probably years.
Now that I know more about NES games, I thought I would pick it up

Cut up box, but I fixed it so it atleast looks neat, and the cart has a nice clean label. Manual is worn though.

Why does this deserve a photo? Why, because it is a PAL exclusive and can be quite difficult to find

I am really excited about that Alien VS Pedator, which is the only reason I got that SNES lot. It was boxed only, but I had a spare manual

Here are the pictures of my N64 I promised you all:

      Decided to start using Flickr.

It's actually a Hong Kong unit...

EDIT: and here's the DreamCast I won on eBay:

Sorry for crap quality - taken with mobile phone.

This is all of them except for my table top Mario's Cement Factory, which is here.

And here are some more recent purchases. Game Boy Wars, Princess Crown, Pitfall, Famicom Wars, Fire Fighting (as talked about in the other thread), SMW, Super Famicom Wars and Game Boy Wars (Advance Wars)

Bloody heck, that's cool. How much did all that set you back?

The only really pricey ones were Egg (which is a Mickey Mouse clone) and two of the the panorama ones (in the top left). The four panoramas I have are the easiest to get. A shop near me has one of the other two, but they want 130 000 yen for it!

Egg is the only one I have without the box, sadly.

I can't bring myself to think about the total cost of my games collection!

I was about to say, that G&W collection is quite a chunk of cash you have sat there Stroppy some of those are a lot of money. Awesome seeing them all together, something so basic about them but so cool too.

Have you tried going for the crystal screen ones, those have scary price tags indeed.

I'd love the crystal ones, but I've never seen them for less than 90 000 yen in bashed up boxes, which I can't justify really. They're not really the most fun games anyway. If one of them had been Mario's Cement Factory, which is my favourite G&W I might go for it.

I like showing these game and watches to my DS Lite owning junior high school students and saying "When I was your age, this was the most fun we had" in a Victor Meldrew voice.

The crystal screen ones were a west only jobby, so they have quite a high value in japan but even over here they are still a few hundred quid.

Im too poor to start G&W collecting as it would eat me up knowing i could never get a full set withut winning the lottery

Have you played it yet? ... It's one of the worst games ever made; unfortunately.

The U.S. SNES is my favourite console. I like the colour - and the joypad is better.

Luckily, my one is still looking good. It's ever so slightly fading in places - but not really noticeable.

DKC is a nice game, too.

I think SNES AvP is the only game I put into the console and played completely through on the first attempt without ever seeing a game over screen. I recall actually liking it, but at the same time being unbelievably grateful that I'd only rented it.

My first introduction to the idea that a game could actually be "too short"

Yeah, when you compare them in photos the US SNES comes off a poor second. I was planning on putting the US SNES inside a UK body, but it has a charm all of its own. It looks great now it isn't piss yellow!

I've been playing DKC, too. I'm about a third of the way through now - quite enjoying it; the difficulty seems to be just about right, although it's becoming a bit worrying at this stage. I expected it to be the poor cousin of Mario World, but it's up there.
