Psone games (all minty fresh) £2.50 the 3. BBC games/programs £1 all in. Elite is just beuatiful, a true piece of gaming history.

Don't ask me why i ever brought one, it prolly the worst pad ever made cos they weren't very responsive - i only came across this by accident! lol its so bad that its so forgettable! which i have forgotten since the day i brought it! lol

Bloody Hell! I remember those as well absolutely terrible pad, diagonals were impossible.

Beat it in one sitting, light on difficulty, and pretty easy to exploit, but a nice game none the less

I distinctly remember magazine reviews of the time marking it down for being too simple. At ?50 a popit was a fair reason, but it's fine when you pick them up nowadays

Metroid for the Famicom Disc System, brand new and sealed (but not for long!) and Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari, bitches!!1

I have a PAL cart of it already but it crashes when I play it on my Famicoms. I think it may have been speed corrected for PAL, which could explain it. Maybe I'll dig my NES out one day and check.

I could hardly hide my excitement at the time yet still managed to haggle ?3 off. The inner poly box isn't in the greatest shape and there're no instructions but everything else is sweet.

Goodness knows. Their afer sales service is terrible too. I'm almost embarressed to say how much I paid for that Mega Drive on the pretext that it was new. I later got 50/60hz and region switches fitted to it and the guy I took it too said something like: 'I don't remember you bringing this to us before.' The sods at Telegames had sold me a secondhand console and still left the service sticker on it from when it was repaired by the the infront of me. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Cheers mate, to say the Megadrive was considered a flop in Japan there seems to be quite a bit Landstalker merchandise though, theres the book I bought, an official guide, a Landstalker Encyclopedia and another book that comes with a CD attached(not sure what this is) and also a soundtrack CD, the game must of had a bit of a cult following in Japan.

nah, Mega Drive wasn't a flop, just not as popular as the PC Engine or SFC. I'd say that the Mega dRive did better in Japan than the Saturn did in Europe

Oh yeah, Telegames are last. Over priced, poor condition and idiot staff is what I remember about them when I tried to buy a PC Engine TG from them many years ago.
