To be honest jamesy, the only really playable FX games are Zenki and chip chan kick. Most of the titles above are jap heavy adventure games, i just love them as items more than anything, but at $5-10 each it's a cheap thrill.

There are other playable titles by the way, but they aren't that great!

@Shadowdancer, what happened to the spine card?

@ikobo_1, could have done without seeing that little lot. The PC-FX has always gnawed away at the back of my mind. They look in mighty fine condition too.

I've always wanted to try out Battle Heat, missed out on a PC-FX right here on these boards. it several months back now and the games listed included Super God Trooper Zeroigar.

Just going to focus on the PCE while it's still alive.

Only minty/mint stuff gets in to my collection neostuey! Zeroigar is an average shooter, but it IS on it's way to me from Japan as we speak as i picked it up at a decent price.

lolz at rofl mcdonald. The second one in where he appears to be cossack dancing but with crossed legs with hand on chin is my favourite lol.
Nice copy of Earthbound as well; not that I'd expect anything less.

Earthbound was $265 from one of the guys over at NintendoAge.

Id been putting off buying it for so long, however im happy to say its well worth the money. Not been able to put it down yet. The worrying thing is how bad it makes modern RPGs look. Earthbound dared to step outside of the generic genre and poke fun at it at the same time, a real treat to play.

But yeah, Ronald gives me the creeps. Check out his cute balloon and curvy hips pose, nice! Oh, and his paedo wink on the cartridge. *shudder*
Not a bad game I might add, especially for its time.

I love the Mega Drive rip-off font on that Magic Drive. Even now getting a good Japanese MD font is hard.

Ouch... that's makes the $70 I spent on my complete copy look like things went upwards very quickly over the years in terms of value.

Nintastic, what's the Double Fighter Pro? I've never seen one before.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say its a big floppy disc type unit which you stick on top of a SNES/MD (depending on what version) and you just run the games of floppies.

You can also dump SNES roms on floppies and other interesting things.

it does both, hence double in its name

on its tender belly there are 2 slots and you just stick in the relevant extension adaptor, much like the universal adaptor to get import games to work on pal MD/SNES

I Had one many moons ago - smashing bit of kit

the only version change was one which had more memory to play the bigger meg carts like Streetfighter special champ edition
