I wish VB games were sealed, most of my collection has been bought new and is proper minty fresh, but given the amount I play it it might as well have been sealed and stay looking good...

What a lovely surprise I got tonight when I arrived home. Club Nintendo had sent me a Game & Watch !! It was a gift for reaching Platinum member status in 2009. I had no idea at all that I'd be receiving one of these. I haven't even visited my Club Nintendo account since I got my 360 6 months ago.

Okay, as you are all aware I collect minty ninty but OPENED games so this might come as a shock , with all this talk over vga I thought I'd do some investigating on the matter myself and speaking to a fellow (though more extreme) collector he offerered me a vga game in a trade that we were doing and here it is -



So I was thinking off doing a Watchdog,

Cracking the baby up and sending it back asking for it to be graded to see if it came back with the same mark OR

Very very carefully using tried and tested methods opening one side swopping the game for a completly different one and resealing it and then sending it to them ! OR

Youtube it, cracking it open and tearing the sellophane off with lots of whoop whoop style shouting and cheering !

He also threw in 2 vga cases so I popped in a couple of minty BUT OPENED games in them ,



Now I must admit they are very nice, the bottom slides open so you can take them out whenever you want to PLAY them and they do look very nice on your shelf.

More scandal now , slabbed games do nothing for me BUT the acrylic cases are very tempting for my hard to get, want to keep in perfect condition status. HOWEVER have you seen the prices for them and then the shipping then the customs charges you'll end up paying 15-20 a pop for them though.

Lol, Sanwa Denshi parts in a woody. I might have a marquee for that cab. You can have it for postage if so.

I opened up the control panel last night and it isn't wood. It's this really tough plastic that's about 3-4mm thick, so they'll be fine.
