The ONLY thing I like about LCDs is the geometry control.
Probably because I worked with them for years and they completely shagged my eyes. LCDs are far easier on the eyes.

Yeah, my Mum always warned me of them doing your eyes in. I guess because I'm younger CRT tech improved and my eyes were unaffected. I primarily use LCD anyway now.

In other news, there are two CM8833-II on eBay currently - the gods haft smiled upon me.

Mrs mmmonkey likes picross so picked this up for her, and a couple more MVS goodies for me!

What happened to your big Toshiba with the component inputs and your Mitsubishi monitor? I fear that you're on the same crazed quest for the perfect CRT that I am!

You know what lolita is like! He changes his mind almost literally more time than I change my pants!

That said, would love to see the perfect CRT myself.

Here it is. I'd love to have that beast, wonder if he ever got rid of it?

I'm on the same quest. Gonna use LCD for 480i and above but want a 15khz monitor for 240p.

                    Just finished this last night

Bits of CD cases and VHS cases used to blank out case holes and cover up the exposed motherboard lol

I quite like having the PCB bare. The climate of the UK means you can leave it out and it be fine.

Can you remove the plastic from the MVS? I assume so..

Have secured a yellowed Commodore 1085S-D2 monitor. Yum!

I recently got some old stock retrogames (the Super Multitap is superb!)

Just a quick question: I found a NBA Live 97 Sega GENESIS cartridge inside the Mega Drive case. Is that normal?

Wait, what is that? One of those 'consolised' Neo Geos I've heard about in passing?
