I would have happily paid ?7.99 for Gradius V alone. No idea what JLH is like, but the other titles that was available were pretty dire.

That is a fantastic price for Gradius V. One of the best shooters ever.

I got the game from here http://www.retrogames.co.uk/

Not sure what that iso is he's selling as i don't think NCI have converted the game to CD yet. It might be a homemade MVS to CD conversion or maybe just a scam.

I'm after Sam Sho 1, Baseball Stars Pro, Magician Lord, Last Blade 1 & 2, Rally Chase and Ninja Combat, plus a couple of fairly easy gets Cyberlip and Robo Army that i'm just waiting for the right price on. What about you?

Been building this on and off for a while now. All that's left to do is to add some switches to be able to swap inputs/change resolution etc.

Very pleased with the finished article, ?20 VGA scaler, DIY input converter and DIY scanlines. The 4 switches let you enable/disable scanlines, chhose odd/even, narrow/wide and enable a different mode to work at 800x600 resolution.

Ooh, need to print out something to label the front inputs and switches, then the rear outputs. Was thinking of printing onto transparencies and covering the whole metal panel so there's no labels stuck on it.

          Pete

Agreed! I'm rubbish at shmups but it didn't stop me playing the hell out of this one.
I can't eat an apple now without thinking "Destroy the core" when I'm done.

Well apart from Ninja Combat we're not both after the same games then, that's a good thing

Well I might he able to help you out with some wants

The complete Jpn set with all spines was so much easier lol

The last blades sent easy to find but I stumbled across both of them and they cost me buttons

While not quite on the same awesome making level as Mmmonkey, my second attempt at trying to get this famicom pad to USB. The first attempt was a plug in adapter that i bought but it was crap as it didn't work properly, so i bought a retro usb conversion kit instead. Bit of soldering later i now have a working USB original Famicom pad,, prefer a real pad than those fake Buffalo USB knockoffs.

That'd be great thanks mate, I really appreciate it.

Yeah even the rarest JP games seem to pop up every now and then.
