I never used to buy anything in X Electrical, but I did used to step inside the store every time I was in Kingston to have a nose. Around 2002ish though when CeX still carried imports I used to love browsing those stores. Never bought anything though as all my consoles were PAL and I was a child.

Nuts, it was the Kingston store we went to, actually- I got mixed up because we went to Croydon on the same day. It was like a magical pocket of nostalgia, especially as the guy behind the counter was playing the Sonic Adventure theme on his iPod.

Around the end of the 90s and then for a few of the following years I still used to buy import titles from a couple of retail stores near me. One that was a bit further had an amazing selection but some of the prices were insane. I would just look at the titles and try and find them elsewhere. Random JP PS1 and Saturn titles for ?55-85 was the norm at that place.

it would seem that way but I really do enjoy seeing what gems or sometimes crap people pick up. It brings a smile to my face. I like to see people finding something they've been looking for.

So yeah, once you're off the wagon you're as well to just keep on rolling! Ever since the news JSR was coming to PS3/360, I just had to play it again, and going the PAL DC route doesn't cost much, the brand new sealed copy I picked up was ?4 delivered FFS!

While I much prefer the Japanese Dreamcast there is something quite nostalgic about that Euro edition packaging. Good job!
