Not proper retro (so won't bother with pics), but I finally got a game I've been after for ages. The Special Sound Box version of Psyvariar. Also got the JP Gamecube version of Crazy Taxi which has eluded me until now.

I finally got my correct package yesterday and it had 2 very beautiful hard back factory sealed working designs official guides. I did however leave them at work so ill get pics of them later for people. They are indeed very beautiful though.

I've got a Sega Mark III ( and a FM sound addon ) on it's way to me. Anyone know what type of cables I can use? It does output a RGB picture doesn't it?

I though mark III's only outputted rf signals. Although im not 100% sure if theres another video output socket on the back.

Really? That's not good. I wonder if AV cables work? Anyway I thought SG and SC were RGB consoles/computers so I kinda thought the Mark III would be too.

That will make it more of a collectors item to me than something to use. Shame

One quick google search later -

1st Japanese site says the console needs to be modded.
2nd says (babelfished) " < MARK-III > Mark 3 / \15000 / 1985 .....*snip*
Also video & RGB output were standard, (as for the connecting cord selling separately)"

Searching for RGB on this SMS forum http://shinobiman.proboards15.com/index.cgi you get someone saying he uses an RGB cable for his console. Confusing.
