But that's only for SF2! Super Street Fighter 2 is much better on
the MegaDrive! It has all the Sounds (kicks, blows, etc) in it that
the SNES doesn't which makes it much more fun to play.

As far as 'super' conversions go, the best one is the dreamcast version. I would highly recommend you to track down a copy of it, if super is your thing.

I got my Gizmondo today too (?40 from HMV). I've only played Sticky Balls so far put I like the game and must say that the build quality of the console is surprisingly good. It's light but durable with a great screen. I love the rubber too - you can tell it's designed by the same guy who did the Speccy

I live only twenty minutes from Akihabara by train but I had to go to Aldershot to get a Japan-only console!
I'm a bit confused by your post, by aldershot do you mean the one in North Hampshire and is consumed with pikeys?

That's the one! Came back to the UK recently and while I was there I toured all the used game shops I could remember in the vicinity of London.

I've never seen one in Japan.

It's almost exactly the same as a Gameboy Pocket, except that the on-off switch has three points - on, off and strange blue lighting!

I assume it was bought it the kart klub? I've actually been in there once, and I've got to say I'm surprised that that japanese exculsive console could be found there. When I went there all the had was cart on only (or "kart" onlylolololol ??) megadrive games :/

I never even heard of this "Gizmondo". Should I have?

Not really. It's a semi-obscure handheld from recent years; a fairly dismal failure in terms of how well it did in the marketplace, but it has some interesting features such as built-in GPS -- that's what's tempting me to buy one, as it seems like a dirt-cheap GPS 'solution'. Any owners care to elaborate?

Yes, that's the place. The bloke has quite a good collection of Japanese stuff in his cabinets on display. I asked about the GBL, he said he would check ebay to see the going rate, and that was that.

On another note, Super Potato in Akihabara is selling mint copies of sin and punishment for less than 3000 yen, for those who are interested.

Sorry, I missed this. I agree - it is a very comfortable console to hold. Mine came with a demo of trailblazer. Of the five games I found I got the four in the picture - didn't bother with a bike game. Too bad the release schedule for new games isn't anything to get excited about.
