Its a great game but not worth ?200.As a demo of what the Saturn could do, this game just can?t be beaten. Plus the game is rock hard

Nah..its piss easy..well I found it to be anyway. The trick is to mind control the enemies that you can, use them to fight for you and then blow them up when in a pickle. Easy stuff (although the targeting can be a little annoying), and worth the cash imo as you will never play a game quite like it.

Hmm ... I got Astra on the way, as I managed to grab a copy for 60 Euros which was not to be missed really. I had a quick bash on it a long time ago and loved it, so am looking forward to firing it up again.

Sadly will have to let Taromaru go as I can't afford to hang onto a game of that price whilst I am jobhunting and trying to cover the rent.

Will probably have to pass on Astra after I've had a good bash at it too - but the beauty of not working full time is that I actually have plenty of time to play these things! Although I probably ought to be filling out job apps instead. Hmmm ... balance ...

Well f-ing impossible would be a better description I guess. Lovely game thought that purple spider mini boss is one of the most impressive Saturn effects I?ve ever seen. And the music on the 1st level rules

C?mon guys Shinrei Jusatsushi Taromaru is not that hard, in fact it's quite a skill full game as you can finish it on one life if your good enough. That the whole point of Ranking mode when you unlock it, I can get about half through the game on one life and still get the worse rank.

All I?ll say about the final boss is, it is one crazy monster.

tried to get in the hunt working today

in one other thread recently a dude stated if he unplugs his controller on his white saturn it works every time

well i tried it today on my derby stallion and white one -

what i would give to get this working on one of my machines

anyway played a bit of biohazard today and to my joy its the full uncut version with blood gore and heads getting bitten off

i finally got round to japanesing my uk saturn (100% jap now, with forced pal60) as i got some games recently - sf the movie game, outlaws of the dynasty-something, vf kids, vamp saviour and xmen vs sf as i now have a 4m ram cart finally. now apparently snk stuff works with the 4m ram too. if so, i may as well sell my official 1m ram cart eh?

No, keep a hold of it. I think there are issues when you use a 4MB cart for some 1MB games. I know for a fact that KOF '96 has corrupted graphics when you use a 4MB cart.

but that autoswitching action replay 4m cart - does it really autoswitch by ignoring the last 3m of ram or something?

oh btw, a few people have told me that their vampire saviour works with not even the 1m ram cart but...

...the kof 95 ROM cart!

wtf? obviously i don't believe them for a second but what on earth could they have been doing exactly? both mates have the kof95 rom, the 1m ram AND the 4m ram and they can in fact tell the difference between these three

Using the analogue?? IMO, well at least when it came out had Sega greatness all over it, amazing graphics and a soundtrack most memorable.....
