The saturn really is all about the shooters and fighters there isnt much other stuff that holds uop that well, besides the obvious ones like Nights.
I'd say the Dreamcast has a lot weaker line up than the Saturn's and it's alot more than just shooters and fighters.

So I've hearded, it's also about the only Capcom game on the Saturn I haven't play, I liked the arcade version when I play it. Does the Saturn conversion have many extra's?
As D&D does offer a lot of replay value, with the many ways through the game.
Besides the 2d Fighters and Shooters I would say hardly anything else on the saturn is "essential" as many of them seem very dated by todays standards, its not like I'm saying you should only buy shooters, fighters and treasure games for the saturn, but I think that big list is deffinitley one of more than just essential games. Especially when you also consider the fact that somthing like say, Elevator Action Returns and several others you mentioned will all be, or already are, aviliable on current gen consoles on compilations or whatever.
Also do not go near Bug! its the dullest game ever!!!!!

The same point can be leveled even more so at the DC, as a lot of the Dreamcast hard hitters have been released on other formats. The following names spring to mind.
Grandia 2
Skies of Arcadia
Marvel Vs Capcom 2
RE Code Veronica
Crazy Taxi
Shenmue 2
Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike
Bug is a great game and some of the later worlds looked really good. Bug Too had so many problems, the first world was badly designed and very very dull. It got better as it went on however.

Mavel Vs Capcom 2 looks better on the DC
Its arguable which version of the other games is best but all the other games have rubbish load times on the PS2 and if you have a DC then you should get those games for it.
Most of the saturn games that got "updates" or ports are exactly the same on current gen consoles. So this means you don't NEED them on the saturn when you can pick them up more easily and cheapley on another machine.
Bug! looked great at the time of release sure, but the gameplay is dull and the level design is just as boring. Plus its quite a big game, so even if you could be bothered to play it the lack of both checkpoints and the fact that there is no way to save your game means I doubt anyone would ever finish it either. But then I really doubt most people would want too anyway.
You could indeed argue that every single one of those titles is superior on the Dreamcast.
(We could get into a debate over whether there is a difference between Biohazard Code Veronica Complete on DC and Code Veronica X on GC... DC still has VGA mode, and both blow away the PS2 port. You might argue Grandia II on PC to be a little better in framerate and resolution, but the main game is identical, and again, much better than the PS2 port.)
Shenmue II on XBox was decent, but it lacked the little bit of sparkle the DC one had.
Your port is a good one though - The Dreamcast catalogue has pretty much been raped and released on other formats. In addition to the titles you mention, there's the likes of Sonic Adventure 1/2, Skies of Arcadia, F355, PSO, 18 Wheeler... seems the only games that stayed Dreamcast-only were the Model 3 ports (ironically, titles I'd love to see re-ported to other consoles sometime).
