That's alright S3M, most will know it as Mana 2 though. It's utterly sublime. I will certainly finish it again in the future, for me both games are much better than the Final Fantasy titles on the system.

Legend, Children, Sword, Heroes & Dawn are not a patch on the first three games in the series.

This week's been rather a PS2 week for me... revisiting Outrun 2006 (looks fab in 480p which I'd never been able to play up till this point!), Kingdom Hearts 2, We Love Katamari...

Played sotn through on my vita. Awesome as ever. Also capcom generations 2 on the saturn and the incredible battle garegga.
quite tempted to get another Framemeister (nice screenshot yakumo). I sold my last one because I couldn't get it to get along with my saturn ... But I'm close to giving one another try.

I'm currently halfway through the original NES version of The Legend of Zelda (3DS VC version). 4 out of 8 Triforce pieces recovered. First Quest.
Forgot how bloody difficult this game was to begin with - died several times early on. That said, it is pretty easy to find/power-up/upgrade items and accumulate heart containers quickly (16 maximum in the original as opposed to the now standard 20), thus making things considerably easier as you progress. Game mechanics obviously haven't aged well.
I'm tempted to try and eventually re-playthrough all the Zeldas (obviously barring the sh1t CD-i ones) in the run-up to A Link Between Two Worlds being released. Thanks to the 3DS Ambassador Program and eShop/VC, my XL alone also plays host to Adventures of Link, Link's Awakening DX, both Oracle games, The Minish Cap and Four Swords Anniversary Edition. I also have copies of Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time 3D, Skyward Sword & Wind Waker lying around. Need to get a copy of Majora's Mask but I can always download that from Wii VC in the worst-case. Already have A Link to the Past on Emu on my Wii, ahem.

Bit of Chuck Rock on the Megadrive last night. Pretty mediocre and kind of sloppy in places. Enemies appear stuck against walls then instantly attack you as you draw close. And I really noticed the lack of a brief period of invicibilty after taking a hit. Land on spikes if you can't clear them your a life down right away.

Finished NES Zelda this morning. Not too difficult all in all, more tricky than anything - especially if you enter the last few dungeons with small amounts of health. Had to resort to using restore points on my 3DS to get it done.
Started playing Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Got as far as clearing the 1st "palace" before having to stop due to the headache that I received from how frustrating the game is. Has to be the worst Nintendo-made Zelda game ever, surely? Will get back on it later.
