Finally 'finished' and had my fill of GC LoZ: Majora's Mask. Couldn't be bothered to try to collect all the masks and some of them I didn't manage to collect I've now looked up in a walkthrough and discovered the stupid amount of time I spent on some of those puzzles were utterly pointless.
That sort of thing and a few others things I didn't like about MM but it does have some great ideas. It is just a pity about Nintendo's kiddy level character design and story telling. I really have trouble getting over that.
However I'm glad I've eventually played it but it will be a long time before I'm in the mood again for any more LoZ.

Just about finished ALttP - about to enter the final dungeon to face Agahnimh/Ganon. Still a fabulous Zelda experience, even if the passing of time has made it seem remarkably easier.
I originally planned to play through as many Zelda as possible before A Link Between Worlds was released, but time constraints have made that tough. I should be done before Friday.

Thanks to PS Vita TV I have this week re-visited R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, which I hate now even more than I did in 1998.
Yesterday I played through Scenario A with Leon in Biohazard 2 in one sitting, getting an A Rank score.
Tonight I am going to play Biohazard 3. I only played it once upon release, not liking it as much as I had the first two games. I remember almost nothing about it, so I'm looking forward to it a great deal.
I've got Metal Gear Solid: Integral lined up for sometime over the Christmas break too.
I might even go for the latest PSP Monster Hunter too, providing you can get a D/L.

Bags of style though, even if it doesn't please the RR core. There's hardly been a racing game since with such a unique and defined style (much like the earlier Ridges' brash colour schemes, announcers, and helicopters).
Racing games now are like...here is a photorealistic version of a real-life car, on a real life track. OR, here is a photorealistic version of a real life car, in an eerie city of cars but no people. An anodyne Cartown inexplicably filled with strategically placed billboards. Billboards that you can crash through are the most important element of any contemporary non-simulation driving game.Last edited by wakka; 02-12-2013, 17:34.
