(Retro) What have you been playing this week?

I have been playing Final Fantasy IV, Secret of Evermore and Outrun 3DS mostly.

I love FFIV. Need to pick up another GBA as I still can't find mine! Probably lost it in a house move.

I'm enjoying it although it's rather disjointed. Too much swapping of characters in the party.

Been playing Virtua Tennis with my brother on my recently acquired Dreamcast along with Soul Calibur. Still good as ever although think I need to grab VT2 as that added the slice button I think, feels pretty responsive playing it via Arcade sticks too.

Good to see the Doom love here, I love firing up Doom Legacy occasionally on my laptop. The mouse look, jump button and openGL goodness really bring things up to date nicely. Doom level design has yet to be beaten.

When are we getting more Doom reboot info FFS?

(SNES) Darius Twin ,Stunt Racer FX ,Street Fighter Alpha 2 (N64) F-Zero X ,Road Rash 64 (A2600) Threshold (ARCADE) Alpha Mission II ,Sengoku ,Ghost Pilots ,Metal Slug 3 And a huge amount of Game Gear and Sharp X68000 games.

been playing Turok dinosaur hunter the last 2 weeks, really got into having not played in back when i first had the system, quality game. very polished

I completed conker live and reloaded and king kong. I also have area 51 on the go and also gladius.

I'm about 40% into Gran Turismo 3 and enjoying it.

Completed Mega Man 5 on Thursday, Really enjoyed it :-)

Got Daytona 2001 on the DC last week, so sitting down to play it for the first time this weekend. Such a good example of the vibrancy DC had, so colourful and fun. Daytona's ultra arcadey handling on the Saturn I've always struggled with, so it's taking quite alot of getting used to.

This is proving very true at the moment....the handling currently seems completely uncontrollable! Any tips for how best to play it?
