Yeah its my fav and most played part of the game; its strangely compelling and relaxing. Love to see the game come out in a DC or XBLA Collection (so more people could play it)

I'm still playing through Earthbound via Pocketsnes on the Wiz. I'm really enjoying everything about it, from the sometimes hilarious dialogue to the funky music. The relatively short 'dungeons' make it a great pick up 'n' play title, as enjoyable in short bursts as it is during longer sessions. Even the little things like the way the shopkeepers ask whether you'd like to equip a newly purchased item and then give you an offer on your old item show just how much thought was put into the game design.

By the way, the game has started making a two-tone beep at me whenever I'm walking about. Anyone have any idea what this means?

Been playing thru Yoshi's Island, GBA version the past few weeks, finished it a couple of days ago, cracking game! First time I'd ever played it through it, I was a sega kid back in the day!

Hi everyone my first post. I've been playing Boulder Dash on the C64, Super Mario 2 Lost Levels - Famicom and does PS2 count, Metal Slug Anthology on that...

I think maybe one of your party members has a staus ailment? Does Ness have a mushroom on his head?

Really need to play through this again and pick up Mother 3!

I've been playing Son Son II. Had it for years and didn't realise how much fun it is once you get stuck in. Managed to get to level 3 so far.

Started playing Super Mario RPG. Pretty fun so far but the graphics are really putting me off - it?s one hideous looking game.

Also tried Super Ghouls ?n Ghosts for the first time. Ugh, so brutal... I can?t even get past the first level. :/

How do I get my armour back, once it's gone that's it?

Keep at it! I'm not that skilled a gamer, but managed to complete it last year.

You can pick up new and indeed better armour at various points in the level. I think enemies sometimes drop armour when you kill them. If you've already got one suit of armour, the next one up is dropped.

Just finished playing through all the resident evil games with a friend. It took us about 5 months. Great series. Wanna get the RE5 DLC now for ultimate completion. Next up: Parasite Eve series.

Golden axe 2 on the ps2's genesis collection has been taking up a fair bit, especially after finding that you can kill the same enemy multiple times, thus multiplying your points and racking up some silly strength scores.

It was in the arcade version of golden axe 1,but they took it out of the mega drive version ,then put it back in the 2nd version.

Going to have to look for the jap md's version ,as the sound of the ps2's fan is destroying teh enjoyment facter.

I am also casually playing Fire Pro Wrestling Returns.

Still struggling with Ghouls n Ghosts. Furthest I’ve got so far is to the wave part on the first level. Everything in this game equals death… can’t even open a treasure chest without getting killed.

Pff… I think the fact you managed to get past the first level puts you in the pro gamer category.

Main problem I think I’m having is I’m used to sprinting through games but Ghouls n’ Ghosts requires section where you need to wait; it’s like the game is going ‘go on rush, the coast is clear’ then I rush and all hell is let loose.

I sympathise Kit, Ghouls n Ghosts is seriously tough. I managed to get mid way through the second level but gave up after that knowing it would take a superhuman effort for me to get further. I just don't have the skills.

The thing is it's totally fair and not on a par with Contra Hard Corps. (for example) in terms of difficulty so I know I could do it if I really tried. At the same time I know I never will.

Speaking of difficult games, I've been playing The King of Fighters 94 on MVS and can't even get past the third fight. I'm really enjoying it though and love pretty much everything about it. The backgrounds are great and it plays really well. If I ever do complete it I'll be moving straight onto 95.
