What did you think of the sequel? I didn't like it that much. Art style didn't appeal either.

I have high hopes for the new Wii-U Zelda.

I spent Sunday afternoon playing Mickey's Magical Quest on SNES (the best in the trilogy in my opinion). Capcom had some amazing SNES releases.
      I adore Skyward Sword! [emoji3]

Agreed. 2nd Squad is definitely inferior in both looks and gameplay.

I've been playing the original Castlevania via nester-j on my psp go. The rewind function is mighty handy! Playing through hard mode now and am really struggling to beat Death. His sickles seem to have no particular pattern.

I actually really like 2nd squad as well. Apart from the slowdown, obviously. I've probably played it more as I owned it on home cart.

Just beaten Frankenstein's monster boss in the original Castlevania, took me about 30 attempts to do it but got there in the end. The game can be brutal but it never feels like it's impossible, not many games that have that nowadays

Holy Water looks to be the way to go with the original Castlevania, especially on the bosses. Check out this vid where they all go down really easy, even on hard mode.

Been playing super shinobi 2. Can complete the first 5 levels on a credit, currently dying on the level 6 boss.

Is that the BioWeapon massive head effort? I love that game but hate that boss!

Been playing Castlevania - Dracula X on the SNES..... Wow, cheap enemies! made it to level 6, might have been further, after some ridiculous falling rock section. Crows, bats and flying heads that constantly respawn....... Soooooooooooo frustrating I'm tempted to run it on Zsnes and cheat!

After several failed attempts I now have PSP Ridge Racers running nicely on my JXD. Without a doubt one of my fave RR games ever, and one that had me glued to my PSP back in the day when I imported it. Playing it now is just as awesome, but with it being on the bigger screen of the JXD it just feels even better, brilliant game.

Cant stop playing F Zero X, such a great game. At the moment trying to play through all of the cups, with all of the characters on every difficulty, should only take a couple of years lol

Just been playing some nice MD games after work. Began with Thunderforce 4 before moving through Darius, Hellfire and finished up with The New Zealand Story...16 bit gaming at its best.

I've been playing Super Mario Land 2 on the GB and managed to get through it in 1-2 hours, thought the running and jumping was slightly off to other games and caused a few deaths (things like perching on the edge of pipes whilst Piranha's pop-up was a no-go). Only difficulties I’ve had were the Moon Boss and the level getting to Wario, but when I went back to the map to check for any places I missed I found a cave where I gambled 999 coins and won 50 lives which saw me though to the end.
