Are you suggesting that any Mickey game on the Megadrive looks better than any Mickey SNES games?!? ROFL if you are mate.
Yeah Mickey Mouse World Of Illusion looks better than any of the Snes versions , why ?

but the SNES Aladdin & Mickey Mouse surpassed them back then and surpasses them now.
The Snes version didn't look or move as Good as the MD version , and imo Mickey Mouse COI is the best Disney game on any 16 bit system . You know if this was Contra or Castlevina then the Snes versiona look , sound and kick the MD version into touch for gameplay . But I don't feel that is the case with Mickey Mouse , or any of the Dinsey game onthe Snes

Having said that I'd still argue that the Snes has MORE quality
VS fighters maybe , but noway for scrolling beat them up's , and treasure did amazing thing with YU-YU-HAKUSHO onthe MD

How many good MD beat em ups are there?
I can think of quite alot of snes ones, and only about 3 MD ones.

I don't think that Batman game is a beat em up.
      Looks more like run'n'gun.

They're just winding you up TA, can't you see? Everyone and their dog knows that the SNES version of Aladdin looks like an 8-bit game next to Dave Perry's amazing Megadrive version. And, c'mon, the Mickey's Magical Adventure games for the SFC were decent in their own right but CoI still remains as one of the most sublime platformers of all time. Remember it's the beginning of April?

I have to say that Castle Of Illusion is the best Mickey Mouse game ever made. Perfect in every way.

The best scrolling fighter? Could it be Batman Returns on the SNES?

An awesome, awesome game. Konami could do no wrong with the SNES. BR is a game that definitely deserves more acclaim. Stunning!

I think Final Fight is the best scrolling fighter ever made. I'm talking about the arcade version. The SNES version is nice - and the MegaCD edition is also great. I also play the GBA version now and then.

Streets Of Rage2 is clearly a brilliant game. Most scrolling fighters are pretty poor. There are only a handful of excellent ones. Let's be happy with the small few that are worth playing.

edit: I like Burning Fight on the NeoGeo. The creators clearly loved Final Fight. I think it's much better than its negative reputation suggests.

The first streets of rage has the most classic feel of all. The beach level with the crayola waves is superb looking, and adam was a brilliant character.

Well I can't talk about SFC games until I get my top cover back from chaoticjelly. It's having its cart slot widened, y'see.

Mickey castle of illusion was good in it's day but it in NO WAY does it or WOI look as good as the capcom SNES Mickey games!!! I dug out COI the other week and it also now feels very Sloooow to play now, Go back and try it and you will agree that it's best left to the memory banks now The SNES Mickey games however are still as playable as ever.

samanosuke, Aladdin on the SNES IMO looks and plays better than the Megadrive game, Although they are both very good games.

Although I too believe that the Snes Mickey games are superior to the Megadrive ones, I honestly think the Master System Castle of Illusion tops them all. That game is lovely, and plays brilliant.

Do you hate the Megadrive Noobish, or are you just in a Snes only phase?

SNES games tend to stand the test of time( visually, sonically ) better than MD games. Castle Of Illusion is still my favourtie Mickey game, though. It's the overall ambience of the game that captivates me. There is an x-factor quality to it - that I can't describe with words.

I'm always fair to the Mega Drive. Aladdin is great on both systems. The SNES version has always looked stunning to my eyes. Such a colourful, sharp, vibrant game.

Once again, no one responded to my Batman Returns post. Does anyone like it? ... It amazes me how little it get mentioned.

I used to love Tiny Toons: Buster Busts Loose.

I didn't think I'd like this much back in the day, but.. it was really fun to play. Such a nice looking game, full of energy and madness. I haven't played it for years, but.. I remember it being pretty easy. Anyway, another excellent SNES game.

That thing deserves a good thrashing. I always hated the Mega DriveII

Hey Leon, I mentioned Batman Returns a couple of pages back. It's a great game and tough as old boots. I always remember seeing the box in Game when I was in my youth, but I never got round to buying it until my most recent Snes.

Big chunky graphics, amazing music and great use of enviroments. Top notch stuff.
