I've been watching the Vids, great stuff
I'd heard that the games stores in Japan (in particular Akiba) had cottoned on to the Gaijin Retro collectors and the prices had all gone up.
I remember years ago when I first went to Akiba my jaw hit the floor, it was overwhelming words simply can't describe it, it was like I had died and gone to Retro Heaven wall to wall thousands and thousands of games all in absolutely mint condition and insanely cheap.
Shame it appears that era has now gone.
I've got some old Akiba pics somewhere will have to dig them out...

That is a quality photo!
I guess it's because the most retro console I buy games for is the Dreamcast but I found the prices for it's games to be very reasonable the last three years.
This talk of Nakano Broadway reminds me of the day I bought PowerStone 2 mint for about ?700!!
The cheapest I'd seen it for before that had been ?1600!
