Found a Saturn console in the Junk Section of Hardoff yesterday with no price sticker on it, so I put a sticker on it myself.
Came with no pads/wires, but otherwise fully working.

The Junk Corner retro games are already Y100 at the Hardoffs closest to me lol, but tend to usually be a lot of common stuff and nothing too interesting. Good for consoles and other bits and pieces though, managed to find all the parts to get a pc engine and AV famicom working for less than a tenner each.

Though I know at some Bookoffs if you peel off the price sticker of retro cart games they'll often just put it through as Y100.

The SFC version must be amazing, Legend of Mystical Ninja as the PAL Version is one of my all time fave games.
Although Goemon 2 is bloody magnificent. I need to still play 3 & 4 although I remember reading or being told a faq is needed for 3, where as 4 is more like 2. I'm going to have tea, then soak up some mystical ninja atmosphere as I find it very special

I've very positive memories of Legend of the Mystical Ninja on the Super NES, saved up for ages to buy the game on the recommendation of Super Play and wasn't disappointed. While not really like them, it worked as my 'gateway drug' into the Zelda series and JRPGs, believe it or not, as I was apprehensive about getting into those type of games before, but after Goemon I just had to get some more of that Japanese gaming goodness.

Is correct. Super Potato has some cool stuff but I found the prices to be high as it has that "international reputation".

The larger Book Off stores are utterly incredible. I spent 3 hours in one before just looking at the game section!

Used to make me laugh on ASSEMbler when a member called Tatsujin would buy every single PC Engine System Card he found for 100?. He had quite the collection.

When I first arrived here my friend told me that Super Potato is only good for looking at stuff, and I'd agree with that.
I think that if you had a lot of time here you could probably find quite a lot of decent stuff for 100yen or really cheap.

Or sometimes if you're really lucky some people just throw their stuff out in the street. Found a Wii console (with no wires that I've never gotten around to testing) and PS2 pad before.

Bagged myself a brand new in box Dreamcast Arcade Stick.
Stick/gate feels nice and tight. Genuinely brand new. Pretty pleased with this one..

Got lucky ?30 + ?5 Post. Followed 3 brand new ones in the last month or so make a ?100.
I wanted brand new as the last two sticks I owned felt a bit loose and I've had problems with buttons sticking.
Thought brand new was the way to go (for out the box use anyway)
I think ?35 is a good price. Box looks great too. Its all about the stick tho. I need to adjust as for 3 months I've played 2d fighting games on dreamcast with a pad....I need to make this feel natural again like before...

Also impulse bought a NES with 24 games last night for ?85, im hoping its a bargin, its more for my 2.5 year old to learn the basics of getting into gaming, ill post some pics once it arrives..

Nice get on the NES, I'm planning something similar for Chloe when she's old enough, currently collecting SNES but I have a PAL NES all lined up as well, just need some extra games for it.
