Deathsmiles II’s IIX mode is probably the best arrange mode on any of the 360 CAVE shooter. Nice pickup!

Glad to finally be done hunting the Konami GB Collection, and can now confirm that even in colour, The Castlevania Adventure still sucks a big one. Keen to try out the Pokémon TCG game, as I've been playing the mobile app version of that which supposedly doesn't go as deep as the first GBC game, just... well, it does look a lot better.
Also you know when you buy a thing and you don't really think about the dimensions of it, but then it comes and you just don't have any space for it? Yeah, that.

Nice stuff, bit bummed I'd ordered Toaplan 3 ages back and on delivery day Amazon said there's a problem and its been pushed back till 20 something of December, quite a few disgruntled on twatter, tho also plenty of people seem to have got theirs.
Bit of a surprise my Mrs got me an arcade1up countercade SF2 for my bday this weekend, feels great tbh and surprised how nice the screen is.

Pokémon TCG on the GBC is a great game. Yeah, the new mobile game is quite fun, but the gameplay rules are simplified versus the GBC games, which include the full rule set. The GBC game is also a proper little RPG, with characters and bosses and so on, rather than the mobile game's single player component, which simply has you work your way down a list of CPU opponents.
Of course, there's no online battling gameplay in the GBC one, so that is one significant thing the mobile game has over it!
If you like the Pokémon TCG game, I can heartily recommend the sequel, Pokémon TCG 2: The Rise of Team GR.
It's a greatly expanded sequel in every way. Not only are there more cards, since the Gold/Silver generation Pokémon are included, but there's also a whole additional island to explore, more many more bosses, a longer overall quest and an endgame too.
There's a very good fan translation of it available. I loved playing it through a couple of years back when I first got my Analogue Pocket.

As I doubt I'll be buying any more in the following two weeks I thought I would post the SNES carts that I have purchased this year. I also picked up a Super Famicom copy of Super Metroid because it was so inexpensive and I love the game so much after playing it for the first time this year.
