Well, certain types of video require more software than windows offers.

I suggest you download and install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack.

When I originally attempted to use VLC the HD playback was awful so I'm not giving it another chance. But yeah, VLC is an option.

I have GOM media player on my laptop, not quite sure the original reason behind installing it, however it comes with the codecs to allow playback of those avi's. VLC is a good option.

If anybody knows rapidshare mirrors/alternatives for the gamesmaster files, please let me know.
