Ground up port made in Unity, free to get off itch io. Very much in a early state but very playable and looks the part already from what i've played of it.

a year on and a new update for it is out. In addition to video/audio/control customisation as to be expected, the gameplay added turbo stuff of police chases, the upgrade shop (complete with Fantasy Zone shop music), mode choices and driving assists like ABS for new players.

I got the cheapskate registered small packet shipping at 1330 Yen, figured it might as well have a leisurely journey over as my Mega Drive is currently behind a load of boxes anyway (reorganising the room).

Bet it's the first English-language actual unboxing/gameplay of it. Can confirm that Amazon UK do the exact same thing with boxes - anything that is even a little bit bigger than a normal DVD box they'll just throw it in a massive box with some brown paper. I dread getting anything slightly larger like special edition Blu-rays or whatever because it can slide around and get battered about, then you're having to return it. Must cost them a fortune.

That is one shiny cartridge, looks like someone's had the wood polish on it!
