I'm hoping James will win this big race, he deserves it!

Thanks for the heads-up, interesting to see just how rough JC looks in HD!

nice one, going to see the simpsons at 8! thanks for letting me know

off topic sort of, do BBC offer a 4oD type service?

              Comment

Some BBC shows appear on the Virgin service like 4oD - mainly mainstream stuff like EastEnders, Holby, Casualty etc but can take 48 hours to appear. So if it's something you really want to see suggest you record it.

That was pretty extreme and entertaining at the same time. There's no way I'd have risked my neck like that.

They weren't really risking their necks. They had at least 2 support vehicles with experienced people on board at all times, plus satellite phones.

It's TV remember, it's never as perilous as it appears.

                    Certainly entertaining though.

No other show would have the balls to do it, no matter how "safe" it was, entertaining viewing for 60 minutes

Show must have a big budget, just that one episode must have cost a small fortune.

Really enjoyed it, except for the closing comment with Clarkson basically dismissing Global Warming!

Clarkson loves to anger environmentalists. They're one of his pet hates, alone with bus lanes, speed cameras, and of course... caravans.

It was a bit dodgy when they were driving over that really thin ice though, I'd have been well kackin' it!
