I think people are beating it down becuase its the last season and they have all hyped themselfs up, they are worried it isnt going anywhere becuase it isnt really moving that quickly.
The thing is lost never really moves things that quickly but still manages to pull off exciting things as it gets to the end of the season. If you go back and watch the final episode of season three you will get what I mean.
I'm still pretty sure the ending will be awesome.

Well thats the problem with this season, there are 5 eps left before the two hour finale, realistically 7 hours of Lost left.
I decided personally to give up again, tonight I will V+ it and all future episodes on sky. Come May 23rd the cider are coming out and I will have a long session, I just can't take the weekly MEH!
That's me bowing out the thread until May.

Jericho wrapped everything up in 7 episodes and Dollhouse told four years worth of story arcs in just 13 episodes (it's second season). The whole Lord of the Rings was only about nine hours long so I'm confident they can tell their ending in 7 hours (including adverts).
Personally I've been loving this season and looking forward to rewatching the whole series once the box set is out.

Just watched the latest and have to say i really enjoyed it, still loads of questions to answer but i think i have a little more insight into whats going on
(the two dimensions co-existed and when they set off the nuke their consciousness' were transferred/overwritten onto their opposites in the other dimension without them knowing what had gone on before? they just pick up their lives from that point on maybe? something along those lines),
still no idea where it's leading to but thats the whats gripping me.
I wonder if
desmond now knows about everything in his past from both dimensions after fainting when touching penny, like when he got back in the limo i sort of felt that he knew about everything in his past life on the island, and obviously back on the island after waking up he knew what he saw in that vision

Another amazing episode.
Eloise was quality this week. If she is a constant through all of Desmonds travels then her frustration was perfectly presented. Loved the "its about time" line and the "oh for godsake" reaction to him. Also the potential for a plane reunion with full-ish cast is very exciting
Keep it up!!!

when we first saw the alternate world, i assumed that they were all kind-off recognising each other. theres a few moments in the airport at the begining where they all give each other weird looks. but up till now i thought it wasnt going anywhere. thank god for desmond.
i never even expected them to explain half the stuff in the show. but it still feels like theres a lot to get through in the coming weeks.
