my annoyance with this series is that it could and can be much better but they dilly dally over plot lines and drag out stories and start stories and leave them
Season 2 was great at the start and the middle part was **** and then it got great again
they're smart - hook you with some good shows - drag it down and prior to it ending bang back in the good shows making you want to watch Season 3
Shows like 24 are just constantly brilliant - Lost this season has been luke warm in my opinion
Just comparing it with 24 - where there wasnt 1 bad episode so far and at a guess lost has had about 11-13 episodes that were just direComment

That isn't what I said. Lost, like any piece of ongoing art, has some parts that are better than others. But, even the weakest Lost of head and shoulders above the best of what most other shows can create, and so I'd never call weaker Lost bad or anything else. Oh and I also would say season 2 has been good throughout, incredibly satisfying in places but dark and mysterious as well. It doesn't annoy me that whole episodes go by without revealing anything because I believe the show is more about the characters than anything else, and how their lives intertwine before they actually met on the island. If you don't realise or see it that way you are bound to be disappointed.
If you watch the show for the island activities you are going to be sorely dissappointed time after time in my opinion.

Just started to watch what I thought was ep23 but its been mis-labelled and is actually ep24. D'oh! Problem with Lost of course is that you never know if they're doing some "clever" flashback/dream/out of sequence time thing, so it did take me a min to realise.Comment
