I watched Crank last night. Always avoided it due to a dislike of Statham but it was ok albeit forgettable.

        I love Fantastic Mr Fox!
Don't look at me, I'm irrelevant.

That doesnt surprise me. Kids for the farting dog & Owen Wilsons voice for the ladies.
Dont really see whats so appealing about the guy. He's not particularly handsome with his dodgy nose & he sounds like James Stewart doing a bad cool dude surfer impression

I watched the Crazies last night.
havent seen the original, so cant comment how it compares.

thought it was ok, standard fare really. a decent rental.

Agree'd, on both counts. The orginal was crap. But I thought the remake was pretty good as well. Bit by the numbers but overall it was a decent film. The pitchfork bit was gruesome

I've watched Mulholland drive and Watchmen so far this week after finding them in a local charity shop. Enjoyed them both but should've also picked up The Prestige as well when I had the chance.

Angel-A, directed by Luc Besson. Quriky little film with lots of twists. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

                      The Wrestler - bloody brilliant

                      Moon - excellent

Blood Diamond - great. 1 of DiCaprios best performances & his accent was spot on too

                        Accent 0_o. Good flick tho.

Gladiator, now that there's a BD of it that's watchable on a non-TV sized screen. First time I've seen it all the way through - I liked it.

And on a very similar note: CENTURION. More action packed Roman-y fun, and a hell of a lot better than Neil Marshall's last crapheap, Doomsday. Very fun.

Was looking for something to watch and this reminded me that I had never seen the sequel, so I watched Open Water 2: Adrift.

The first one was fantastic as it gave an almost perfect illustration of what that real life experience might be like - it was almost documentary level in it's execution, and all the more powerful for it.

This one is the polar opposite. It's basically one of those disaster movies where you watch just out of a voyeuristic desire to see what six utter retards would do if they were left in such a situation. Answer: they mostly all bump themselves off within a couple of hours in various unnecessary ways.

It would have been entertaining for what it was, but the bizarre decision to include two different (and completely contradictory) ending sequences just left me feeling really annoyed at having wasted time watching it.

They obviously forgot that one of them was meant to be used for the extras and put them both in the main cut by mistake.

The decent stuff I watch today was:
The girl with the dragon tattoo
                              Knight and day
                              Salt

                              The crap:
                              Don't look up
                              The dead undead
                              Road kill
