Drive and 30 Minutes or Less

Drive is amazing. Really compelling, great performances and a fantastic, contrasting soundtrack.

Go see 30 Minutes if you like Danny McBride. Otherwise, don't!

I'm curious about Drive, but to me, there's only one film called "Drive"...

Watch Tinker Tailor, very good. Excellent acting. Not a film I'd likely repeatedly watch.

Also watched Warrior, which hits just about every cliche and is brilliant for doing that I can't remember the last time I saw a so obviously play with the audience's emotions. And it's brilliant! The fighting shots were all too brief, kind of punch punch cut, punch punch cut, which was a shame. But quite a film, recommended. 2 hrs 20 mins has never flown by so quickly.

Hoping to catch Drive in the week, heard great things.

...and I'm going to watch Warrior! Tom Hardy + MMA = 2 of my favourite things!

Jurassic Park as well, I reckon. Need to abuse my Cineworld card! Loads of great flicks in the cinema at the moment.

Hardy is amazing in this. Think he's going to nail Bane in Batman You'll believe that ****er can tear anyone apart.

And yes, loads of great films coming out at the moment. Making up for the rather dull summer season.

I watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, it was excellent. I did find it hard to keep up with locations and flashbacks though.

Although who'd of thought that Bruce Willis was a ghost!

Are any of the Evil Bong films actualy good? I kind of want to seek them out just becuase they are called "Evil bong".

I did see a film by the same director, I have forgot what it was called but it was basicaly about a mad scientist who had a mansion and all these little creatures ran amok in it and tried to kill his guests or somthing. One of the creatures looked like Sonic the Hedgehog and another looked like Wayne Rooney.

It was pretty damn bad, but in the most epically awesome way.

                          Watched only two this week...

                          Horrible Bosses

Typical modern comedy, with some serious lol moments...and i must say other than the rubbish last 1/4 of the film its a pretty cracking effort. Colin farrel as the coke-head combover boss is really funny stuff.

                          Snowtown

This was a real suprise from out of nowhere...its the story of the australian acid barrel murders discovered between 1999-2003.
While a film hasnt made me feel so uncomfortable watching for quite some time, the movie overall is absolutely fantastic. The best serial killer flick probably since Seven...but totally different. Told from the perspective of the 16 year old boy who becomes associated with the main culprits, its absolutely foreboding pretty much from the start.

Serious thumbs up for me, but i couldnt watch it again.
